  1. I was actually watching a high school kid that works for my club fitter hitting 320-330 total on the Trackman consistently.
  2. Browsing through some old posts and this was VERY interesting! I have always felt unstable at the top. I could feel most everything they were saying but never could grasp why. I even slowed down the back swing thinking this would help me control the top more. I am going to try this. It may be a huge help with some of my problems.
  3. Interested. I will wait for the response from @iacas as well. I have wanted something to track stats and give the strokes gained for a while but have never pulled the trigger on anything.
  4. It looks like improvement to me as well. For sure something to build on. I'm curious to see more updates on it. I actually went out in the yard after watching the videos you posted and tried the techniques. They felt really good and consistent. I would have to take it to the range and see with some longer shots but I liked it.

I agree. I hope the leader board is packed come the final round. I love seeing the guys have to fight it out with no one running away with the lead. Having said that, the way Scheffler is playing right now, if his putter is on....the chances of a runaway are good. I would not be disappointed by this...🤣
  6. I do not disagree with that.
  7. Sounds good. Yes, I do not mind supporting the Bryan Bros. I have followed them since they started and really like their content. You answered all of my questions. Thanks!
  8. How do you like the Rhoback stuff? I have seen several things I like but it has been hard for me to justify the price.
  9. Agreed. You're a doctor I assume?
  10. I was once told by a CRNA to never get the shots around any joint. They are band aids as mentioned above and he stated they will actually deteriorate the joint. I am no doctor obviously, just relaying what I was told when I was having knee trouble.
  11. Interesting. I may look into the workshops for next year. Thanks
  12. How exactly does one start down this journey?
  13. Wow! Now those are some trips I need. And I would for sure take a plan B like that
  14. Last week I received my new driver after a fitting the week before. Callaway AI Smoke. I have yet to play it though.
  15. I recently signed up to play the World Am in Myrtle Beach. It will be my first time. A friend of mine talked me into it. Should be pretty fun though. Other than that, I do not have any other golf trips planned this year. Unless I take my clubs to Destin on our vacation in June.
  16. Very interesting to see specifically where those pressures are causing back problems.
  17. We will be heading out to Florida that weekend for our annual vacation. We always try to go the first week in June.
  18. Well, work has had me out of golf and not a whole lot of time to participate on the forums here. We are coming to the end of the project that has had me tied up so I am finally going to get back to golf regularly again this year and I'm hoping to get back to being active on the boards. I thought last year was going to be the year but we ended up having several issues that prolonged the project (actually still fighting some of those), but the workload has settled quite a bit. I wanted to re-introduce myself here since it has been so long. I have been a long time member on the forum and was fairly active before the 5 year project I spoke of above. I am guessing that I am around a 10ish handicap now. I am back working with my old teacher again and we are currently working on shallowing out my swing. I hope to get back down to a solid 5 or so and try and contribute more on the board as I did in the past. I am located in Western TN.
  19. I was thinking the same. Like 10-20 million if he were to get injured and could not play...something like that maybe?
  20. Also, if you are waking up at the same time before the alarm goes off (assuming it isn't hours before), that is a good thing. Going back to sleep is what messes with the body's circadian rhythm. if you are waking up without the clock, you are doing well. Getting into sunlight as quickly as possible, as well, in the mornings is another good way of helping your sleep. And then everything @klineka said along with adding in not eating too close to bedtime. Melatonin is a good option but just use it wisely.
  21. I am debating on using the code and getting the Value pack. I do not necessarily need balls at the moment, but that is a hard deal to pass up.
  22. I like the back and forth matches. Very exciting. My plans are to play some tournaments next year. There are several state tournaments I want to play and go from there. Congrats on the win and good luck on the club championship!
  23. Nice. I may have to invest in one of these. I live in TN and as @StuM said, the towel can get dried out fairly quickly (especially with the heat we have had this year). I like the idea of the water pump but not sure I would want to have the large brush on the bag.
  24. I worked on isometric exercises that helped quite a bit. Knees over toes stuff is pretty good as well. Cross friction massage while pulling the knee cap back some also helped. But it keeps coming back. My problem has been consistently doing these things. I tend to work on it consistently until the pain is gone and then I stop and it comes back. I just need to get into a maintenance routine. When I say that I still have it (from my post above), it is mainly because of the lack of consistency. But I agree, if you do not do something about it, it just gets worse and worse.
  25. I started swimming earlier this year for a CrossFit competition and found it very humbling for someone that thought he was in shape. I plan on continuing this as my main form of exercise. I do see how swimming could aid in joint recovery. Having said that, most swimmers I talk to have told me that you have to be careful with volume too as it can actually cause shoulder problems. Now, I'm sure their experiences come from swimming competitively for hours a day. I guess the main take away is just be mindful of weekly volume. I have had shoulder pain for a while now. We will see if swimming helps it or not. Are you referring to the patellar tendon? I have had bad inflammation since late last year. I have tried stretching, less volume, diet change, and even taking a hiatus from working out completely and I still have it. It is probably one of the most painful things I have dealt with and that includes a torn meniscus currently. Very good information in this post. I too have golfers elbow in both elbows. I notice it the most with any kind of pull-up style workout. I have tried several things myself with no success. The best exercise I did that seemed to help the most were zottman curls. I remember years ago, I also used floss bands and a lacrosse ball that seemed to help as well.
