thought i woold come back and update this thread we ended up booking at Xona Resort and will play the Stadium Course and Greyhawk (one round each) and maybe sneek in 9 on the last day fitting in 36 holes/day might have been tough and super exhausting (my cousin would be dead for sure!! hahaha) March 1 couldnt come sooner!!!!

yes I refuse to play a bag that doesnt have SEOMTHING matching in it I have a Titleist bag and have a 910 driver, 909 FWY and HY the bag must be functional for me too, but looks, functionality and some type of match but, i will also consider a brand neutral bag, like a SM, OGIO etc... its my OCD ;)

also have one - F2 15.5 w a Graffaloy Pro Launch Red tipped 1/2" only hit it indoors so far, but the combo i have feels great and wicked sound out of the 909 head too

Hey everyone Well for christmas my cousin bought me an all expenses paid trip to Phoenix for 3 days! So we are golfing 36 holes a day. We need to book as an all inclusive deal, so it will be golf and accommodations included. What i need from you sand trappers are some recommendations for places to play. They Ned to be somewhat close together and good for all skill levels. My cousin is an ok golfer and I want something of a decent challenge. Is the stadium course worth the cash? Or just the champions course? Our plan is to golf for 2 days and 36 holes each day Dates are march 1-4 I know this topic has been beat to death, but im typing thi on my phone and searching blows as my phone Internet also blows Any and all helpl is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!! im sure ive posted in here about blades, but hey.... had a set of CG1 tour issued blades....they were great from the 7i-PW i lost all confidence in the lower irons and was very inconsistent w them went back to a few different sets since, but am now (hopefully) settled on a combo set again Nike S/C 4-7i and TW Blades from 8-PW i love having blades from the 8i or so - better ball flight and pin seeking accuracy i wish i had the game for a full bag of blades.....but i dont ;) maybe now that i have been working with an instructor anf learning how to properly trap the ball and hit down it it ALL THE TIME...i might...but who knows im the worst ball striking 3 index you will ever see!! hahahah!....but i get around out there

i think white belts should only be associted with low handicappers and black belts to mid and brown to high this way we know how good your game is before we bet on the match......[/sarcasm]

you wont be able to tell if your bringing down spin, without actually trying out a shaft in that head, on the LM if you plan to do this without the help of a LM, then you will want to look for a low spin shaft....and more than likely combined w mid to low traj as well i have used both the Graffaloy PL Red and the Graffaloy PL Red Axis i LOVED LOVED LOVED the Axis version of the red i currently play the OG PL Red in my HY and FWY woods and they are really smotth feeling shafts the Axis shafts a litte priceir than the regular PL versions the OG PL red can be had for $20 and is a steal and is a low launch low spin shaft my buddy just picked up an OG Platinum for $30 on the bay as well, which are mid traj and low/mid spin as well the only real difference between the Axis and the OG is the torque numbers are slightly higher on the Axis versions the OG (original) Platinum and Red's can be bought and installed under $100 easily the Axis versions a little pricer for sure and might be out of your budget

sounds to me like your "clubfitter" is trying to upsell you a shaft, rather than actually try to recomend something for you to answer your questions, no cutting your 46 to a 44 will NOT turn it from a stiff to a Regular flex maybe the "numbers" might be similar, but they are 2 completely different shafts also cutting 2" off your driver will affect the swingweight (as mentioned above and below) heres the real deal bro as a 22 index a $300 shaft is going to do NOTHING for your game spend the $$ on lessons, $300 will go a LONG way in lessons to be honest, I COULDNT tel the difference between a $20 shaft and a $300 shaft, as long as the specs of the shaft suit my swing (and im a 2.9 index) now if you are horny for a shaft, you can have them for much less than in retail check ebay, the marketplace here or the BST on golfwrx as well, a shaft with a torque rating of 2.9 is going to be insanely hard for you to get in the air...it will feel like a 2 x 4, in any flex for you go see a different clubfitter, this guy is trying to make a buck off you did he even ask your budget???? to reccomend s high end shaft to a 22 index is insane it will affect swing weight, but it will NOT affect the stiffness of the shaft nor the torque (buy trimming at the butt) you would need to cut the TIP of the shaft for it to affect the stiffness

if you type in "bridgestone golf" in google, their WEBSITE comes up it explains what variable boune technology is...personally i think it's a neat idea and from reviews i have read really works even for a guy that likes a lot of bounce on his wedges, 12 (actually it is 11.5 not 12 ;) )is a lot for a LW, BUT w the VBT i think it would work on this wedge I havent actually heard anything bad from guys who have tried these wedges on the course I just about bought 2 of them on the bay, before i got ordered my Scratch wedges....but the Scratch's were a few bux cheaper
