I just switched back to my old R5 over the last year's Rocketballz driver. Sometimes old is good.

I think you have really good rhythm and balance and I don't want to mess that up. But some things to fix at set up are your feet are too far apart, which causes you to sway quite a bit in your swing. The second is that your legs seem a bit too flexed - try straightening up a bit more, which could allow you to not forward press so much. But overall a very good swing and if it works for you then just keep doing your thing while making minor tweaks here and there.

If you won't forgiveness then I would forget about the R9's - not a forgiving club IMO. I don't know enough about the others to give my opinion

Building a Practice Net
SpringBokVol replied to Uber$winG's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
That is really nice work. I am looking to construct something in my basement - more like a hitting bay than just a net. If I ever get to it I will be sure to post pictures. -
That is a really good swing. I mean, it is really sound.

I played in a pro am two years ago. The ginn sur mer classic in Florida. It was a fall PGA tour event but it was still nice. Our group got an early lottery pick and we played with Lee Janzen. He was kind of a knob though. The cost was $5000 a person but it was free for me as I was an invited guest of a sponsor. The whole thing was first class. When you checked in they took you to a room filled with Vokey wedges and Scotty Cameron putters and told you to pick out one of each. I was blown away and felt like a kid in a candy store. We finished second at 18 under. The winners were at 19 under. For second place I took home a very nice crystal trophy. And I did my fair share of scoring that day so I felt pretty good about my contribution.

I average 260 yards. I am not worthy. -
I am just going to stick to one topic and drill for you to focus on that will help you see improvement. You are right that you are losing a lot of power by flipping/casting of your wrists at impact. To better your impact position and to create some lag you should focus on pulling the butt of the club down as hard as you can at the ball. So the drill you need to work on is when you get to the top of your swing and transition into your downswing aggressively keep your wrists cocked and pull down on the butt of the club's grip through the ball.

Why are they not showing Tiger at all during this online coverage???

TopFlite Gamer V2 - a whole new ball game?
SpringBokVol replied to misty_mountainhop's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I love this ball as well. I am fairly easy when it comes to balls though and only if I am taking a round very seriously do grab a sleeve off the top shelf. For the price, these can't be beat in my opinion. -
So far for Big Break Dominican Republic this is who has confirmed, but if you watch the promo vid you can see others: Men: Brian Skatell, Giuliani with really long hair. Women: Blair O'Neal, Christina Lecuyer, Brenda McLarnon, Sara Brown

It's done. I just dropped all of my clubs off. Man, I must be honest, it felt really strange leaving them there. They are a part of me. I will get the back tomorrow. I can't wait.

Okay... it is regripping time. I just needed some motivation. I am excited about it.

If you had the option to buy one new club - let's say a hybrid or a wedge - or re-grip your entire set which would you choose. This is my current dilema. My clubs are old as you can see in my sig and still have the original grips on. They really are not in bad shape though. I have re-gripped a couple of them with the golf pride multi-compound orange/black and love the way they feel. So it is either re-grip them all or get a pre-owned TM TP Rescue 3 to replace my current hybrid. What say you?

You have a really big hitch. You come over the top. You swing down at the ball, not through it. You don't shift your weight. You have a flying right elbow. You bow your left wrist. Your takeaway is really steep. And you are wearing sandals.
