  1. With a +1.6, I doubt inconsistency is much of a problem.
  2. I recently bought a Ping Sigma G Tyne, and it is quite a bit heavier than the Cameron Circa 62 #6 that I usually use. I have to say, I really don't like the heavier putter. I came with a much larger grip, and that, combined with the insert, really reduced the feel. I might not have it too long.
  3. This always seems to open a debate, but I don't know why. If you like Gi clubs, play them. If you like blades play them. I would never try to justify my preference vs someone else's.
  4. Ever since the mid 80s, when I got some Eye 2s, I have always GI irons. I have no trouble working the ball, and I want to get the most out of a miss as possible. I know when I hit a poor one, or a great one. They give me all the feedback I need. I seems a no brainer to me, play with clubs that can help you score the best.
  5. Phil looks like a dork.
  6. Judge Smails?
  7. I use a push cart in the winter, and I just try to avoid wet areas. I have a turf management degree, and never considered push carts to be much of a threat to course conditions. I live in the south, and if I had my way, golf carts would be restricted to cart paths once the Bermuda goes dormant.
  8. After watching the video, I can see their benefit on an electric cart, but I can't see a benefit on a manual push cart.
  9. I would have thought wheels with a more aggressive tread would cause more damage to a soft course.
  10. That is a sub par half a round.
  11. I'll do it if holes are open in front of us, and if our walking group is holding up a group of riders. I will not do it if the course is full, and there is no place for the following group to go.
  12. I play Monday - Friday. Very rarely play on the weekend, so pace of play really does not come into play for me.
  13. It was great watching guys making birdies on the back 9 of a major. Reminded me of the way the Masters used to be. I think this was the best major of the year.
  14. Just read that he has passed. Cancer needs to be cured. RIP
  15. No. Never liked the guy, plus his courses are too expensive.
  16. If you ever get to the Hilton Head area, the course at Parris Island is a good one.
  17. Horrible news. He has fought hard. Life seems like it should be more fair. Prayers for him to have a peaceful, pain free end of life, and prayers for his family.
  18. I wish more people were talking about the winner than the loser.
  19. I just find it odd to schedule a break that would miss a major. It may have happened in the past, but I really can't remember it happening, unless something else was to blame. Which I hope, that is not the case.
  20. Could be a medical situation or procedure that she simply wants to keep private.
