I'm also a fan of the Zip Navigator but I'd sure recommend against purchasing one of their bags. I did and it was a mistake for me.

I only knew her as "Uhura", but it seems that there was much more to her than I knew. Another loss: Nichelle Nichols, trailblazing 'Star Trek' actress, dies at 89 Actress and singer Nichelle Nichols, best known for her groundbreaking portrayal of Lt. Nyota Uhura in "Star Trek: The Original Series," has died at age 89, according to a statement from her son, Kyle Johnson.

Shooting Your Age - What Are Your Standards for Claiming That Feat?

Jeepers. It almost makes me want to smoke cigars just so I can break that record... 🙂 -
I had an eagle (made the putt) on a par 5 last year. No such luck (yet) this year.

Definitely not! I started this season as an 18. I’m at 23 right now. If I’m a vanity handicapper I’m definitely doing it wrong.

Obviously, a better golfer than me. But, if that's what it takes, then I'll just remain a mustard only kind of guy!😄

Thanks for the update - and the words of warning.

I’ve noticed that some rangefinders give readings that are off when the battery gets low. Also, a 3 or 4 yard difference isn’t going to matter with my dispersion.

What a great finish! Way to go Smith!

Did he say, "irregardless"? 😬 In any event, I think he's explained my golf swing. I used to think my golf swing was a prime example of chaos theory - a very tiny change to the initial parameters of my swing produces a large and unpredictable result at impact. The butterfly effect. Now, I realize that it's due to quantum mechanics and entangled particles and collapsing wave forms and the Heisenberg Principle. Whew! I'll sleep better tonight knowing it's just not my fault!

I know of a fellow who consistently claims he always drives 8 over on the freeways.

Good luck with your deer problem. We've tried almost everything over the years. We've found that they will eat virtually everything but the weeds in your lawn. If they don't eat it they'll destroy it by rubbing their antlers on it during the rut. We've tried soaps, repellents, unwashed socks, fox and coyote urine, bags of mothballs and things I can't even recall. They were badly pruning my young fruit trees so I finally ended up fencing each individual fruit tree in my "orchard". There are fences tall enough to keep them out but that can be very expensive. You can also put two shorter fences separated by a few feet but then it's difficult to take care of the part in between the double fence. The individual fences have worked well and we've also come to accept that deer are a part of our landscape and nature and we're gonna, occasionally, lose some plants. But those dang rabbits are a whole other story...!

Alternative to Sharpies for Marking Balls?
Zippo replied to DoubleAce's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
I discovered these a few months back and like them a lot. Be advised that when you start a sheet, you need to finish it as they seem to lose their adhesion if the back paper has come loose for any length of time. I still like these things, but they are certainly not the more permanent solution the OP was looking for. -
It was a good one for me but, as they say, past performance is no indication of future performance and your mileage may vary...

I'm still very happy with the PXG 0211. It's more driver than I am swinger. For a while, I lost the swing that kept me in the fairways and developed one of those heavyweight fades. I raised the loft all of the way on the driver and, with working on swing path and club face control, am slowly starting to gain the upper hand again, I have even hit a couple of low duck hooks and one very nice draw, so I see that as progress.

I'm still kicking. Two years, yesterday, and the thumper keeps pounding away. For any of you others out there who are facing this procedure keep your chin up. It's possible to survive and keep on hitting those balls into various lakes and creeks!

My point is he is playing for money, not for fun. You don't think he has fun?

I’d like to see the cameras set up on the tee so that we could see both down the line and front on looks as they drive. Then maybe a slow motion replay of the views in slow motion when things go wrong (or right). At home learning experience.

As @iacassuggested, I think he did indeed mis-hit it.

How about that amateur Thorbjornsen? In second place behind Xander! Nice! Sure. As soon as I say that he cards a bogey.

I'm happy to see him go (and I wish he'd take Azinger with him). I'd prefer they tried Dottie in the booth but that probably won't happen.
