  1. How does a bet change anything, can't win a discussion thats for damm sure...
  2. Have to agree, same same for every team too.. I voted No1 because he has the Talent and is one of the longest drivers out there and he has consistent (he's been 6/10 but needs 9 out of 10) ball striking which is more important than distance but you still need to be longish...
  3. Well I'm saying thanks to Bryson its very much front and centre, in little New Zealand we are seeing most of the drama that goes on in the States. Including the effort by Brooks to windup Bryson, which may or may not be legit. I,m doing alot more upper body training that stops when my muscle is burning. I'm so happy that I've hit 144 mph ball speed not bad for 70 y/o, I'm not stopping training because I want to see how far I can go... Back in the day my driver was 250 metres +...
  4. GREAT So you think with your wallet, latest results suggest the Europeans are playing well with Two wins. CJ Cup an Andaluca masters, too little too late But !!!
  5. It's only in the last 2-3 years that someone has made a real commitment to building up his body besides Tiger previously, now that the kids see all this going on their onto it!! They can see the correct body shape can change be bigger, previously it was thought big muscle was not good for Golf but Bryson has changed that thinking. I see so many Fat touring Pro's doing ok but could be so much better if they did the training, I believe it's the main reason Tiger was just too good for so long plus he could play with a broken leg....
  6. Yeah it all starts somewhere, 400ish driver distance will be the norm faster than you think. Bryson is just the beginning...
  7. Trade offs work for me, I like hybrids for the mid and long irons but blade-ish for 9 and wedges. Because I can't work all what I call dinky shots with hybrids, back in the day I used all blades...
  8. Ryder cup or was I watching a different channel? It was something to drool over...
  9. Year it's subjective, how many times have you hit a friend's driver and smashed it down the middle. Trick is to realize you were much more focused on that swing, took me a long time to get it LOL...
  10. 417 and climbing, I rest my case....
  11. Shoot my age yeah right, more chance of flying to the moon lol
  12. When my handicap was 9 I used blades, actually they came from Ian Baker Finch's garage to a aussie golf Pro I know to me. Anyway In 3 years I tried with them I nutted the 4 iron once, I did like the short irons and still use the Sandiron 20 years later, I use and really like my Nickent DX3 Hybrids and use them mostly.
  13. I'm thinking this will help those guys who don't have the length like Bryson an Co off the tee, its going to reduce the gap between the good Drivers to the super long drivers. So instead of being 150 metres behind their only 50, easier hitting 7/8 iron close than 4/5 iron but some guys hit long irons like some guys hit short irons...
  14. Thanks, couldn't play today as my shoulders were sore from my workouts to exhaustion. Using Bryson as my inspiration, going to be as strong as I can be while having lessons to keep the swing consistency....
  15. I'd kill to be in Tiger's son's shoes right now, I hope the boy gets the best out of life. Good luck...
