  1. just a mens day of golf
  2. ping moon holds 14 clubs easy and room for some stuff
  3. your ball position is too far forward w the pw and the iron grip position is too strong set up for pw is too square agreed that the reverse weight shift is not working, think about how you throw a baseball after the ball is thrown, your weight is on your front foot. I love the driving range looks like it is eastern bloc the back view is worthless
  4. if you need Junior grips, please let me know, somehow I got a dozen or 2 of the Star jr wraps, great grips, last forever, easy to install..I would love to sell a few
  5. hit fairways ..hit greens. make your putts. If you dont hit your fairway...get back in it.....if you dont hit your green....make sure your next chip, pitch, putt, punch gets onto the green 1st near hole 2nd
  6. You should put al l your available time working on your spelling
  7. the reasoning is off, the majority of players on tour enjoy the benefits of graphite in all their longest clubs ( woods and hybrids) the clubs that have the highest swingspeeds. torque the most flex the most etc...You dont experience that kind of force with the irons...seems to me ..if the steel shafts are best wouldnt they all use them in every club especially the longest length
  8. with 1 towel, all clubs/balls/tees ready to walk out the door...weighs in at 18 lbs 10 oz
  9. I am not sure that back spin is a desired factor on my flop shots
  10. My guess would be two fold.. I think ascetically , it looks nicer if you dont run your carts on any hole close to the green ...and secondly it really compacts the dirt, it s nice to at least have 4 holes that are not hard as hell in August
  11. Zack, " I am not sure that there is a problem. Different grips are made with different compounds...if they were what I think of as "traditional" tacki macs...I am thinking plastic more than porous rubber..then it would not unusual to me to see they were still damp. Feb was just a month ago...back when I was refinishing wood h ead woods..tacki macs were a hot item....these would always come off slightly sticky..especially if you used tape the full length..they never seem to fully dry but they never seemed to slip off. I did see on occasion that the tread would twist after some time. We used less tape, shortened it to maybe 3-4 inches and more solvent . You have removed the "problem" clean em up with some goo gone, let dry and slip on your new grips.
  12. 585 is pretty bad.....our bank wont go under 620 and there are tons of restrictions. 2 things cure all credit problems...time and money. Call a bank in florida, ask them if they have a CRA officer....call that person and see if they recommend / work with a non profit credit counseling agency. Some of your explainations arent really clear on what is outstanding/incollections or paid off.
  13. I carry a shag bag and a few wedges in my car, during lunch, or on the way to somewhere I can drop in for a few hits. I never felt uncomfortable , but I also dont stand in the middle of the field taking massive divots. If people show up I just leave. Usually I will stand outside the fence, find a grass spot and flip some over the chainlink fence, I try to hit close to the front, then as close to the fence, on the other side, I sometimes try it hit the top rail. If I stand further away, I try to hit a specific section of the chain link fence. Like making a fieldgoal Be careful sometimes they come back to you!! Maybe I might hit a few low running chips..into the "center" and then shag them up. I like to hit onto the infield, has a similar feel to hitting into a green, and you get some roll out just like a green. You will find which parks might work best for you. On occasion I have been know to put out POP up nets 24 or 18 inchers..and measure w my laserfinder. I mainly put out 2 targets, and alternate between the two...sometimes pop ups, sometimes low runners. Bottom line, you are a tax payer...be respectfull....if you feel you are doing some damage, carry some seed soil mix in a plastic coffee container and sprinkle it around after you are done
  14. I am putting on the finishing touches for my 2011 build ....a novara randonee ....have a century ride in August that I need to start working on. Anxious to get some miles in...I get up at 6AM on the weekends to log some seat time....
  15. the one thing he is great at ..is riding that damn bike with his golf bag on!!!! If it were me that bag would hit a wheel and I would be ass over tincups...ride on Mark!!
  16. Seeing that this is your 1st post and you may never see this again...my advice...dont do it..you will only waste alot of money and end up w a ruined set of Mizunox
  17. I guess I want to revise my earlier response...if this were my bag.. ...Driver: Walter Hagen (Cheapy) Irons: Powerbilt TPS (Circa 1987)Wedges: Titlest VokeyPutter: Bullseye and some Dunlop POS Ball: Whatever I find (Usually Pinnacles because I shot a 73 with one) I would let anyone hit them no questions asked.
  18. I have a few old books that I picked up on Ebay, I happened to look thru about 7 I happened to have in the car...all measure to the front front.pdf 220k .pdf file
  19. To me....yes, I have trouble letting a complete stranger/someone who I just met....hit my clubs. Likelyhood that they would do damage is low..but...I have zero reason to take the risk. To me..I think it is out of line to request to hit someone elses club. I wouldnt hit someones club if they offered it to me....I dont want to open that door for something to go wrong. Strange, dumb, idiotic...all YES. it is the way I am.
  20. funny...$14 .......One thing is you have to have the mindset that you like to practice, that you are the best practicer in the entire world....you have to want to be the best short game guy ever, you are a short game guru..you love to play the game around and on the greens...if someone had to pick between tiger woods or you around the greens they would pick you every time and twice at the member member. You need to keep a written record of what you are doing, almost like when you are weight lifting . Have to know where you are to get where you are going. You will need some games to compete against yourself " I cant quit until I can get 5 shots within 3 ft" " I need this sand shot to be within 4 ft to win the masters" " the fate of the free world rests on if I can get this 7 footer in" DOnt practice the stuff that dosent matter like 10-30 footers. DO practice stuff from differnt lies, back handed, awkward stances against trees.
  21. Review some of the basic rules....in detail. Review how to play fast, golf course care,
  22. be careful of what you say..you may be on on the streets riding soon
