  1. Is there a significant difference between the e6 and the e6+? If so, what is it? Every shop I go into has either one or the other, but never both.
  2. No changes, other than those new full-body swimsuits that broke every record at the last summer Olympics?
  3. Yeah, Tiger today would probably beat Nicklaus in his prime maybe 7 times out of 10. If Jack had today's technology and training, I think it would probably be pretty even. The main stregnth for both of them isn't really their physical game, although it is very good for both of them, but in their mental game and being able to stay focused and composed to the end of the tournament. All things being equal, the dominant players in any given would likely be dominant in any other era.
  4. Good luck with the new wedge!
  5. +1. It's easier to play or practice on the spur of the moment without having to run home and load my clubs into the car.
  6. This is the method that Jack Nicklaus promotes in his books. I'd pick up one of those "alignment stick" driveway markers, or you could use another club, and place the stick just inside your forward heel and line up the ball and your heel at the driving range. After a while, you'll just be used to it and your set up will be second nature.
  7. Absolutely! I think Ian Poulter has one, too.
  8. Another vote for Augusta. Loaded with history and tradition, also one of the prettiest courses around.
  9. I n that case, don't worry about another long club. You might want to look more at fine tuning your wedge selection and working on your short game.
  10. I've got a set from Stealth Club covers . My mix-n-match golf clubs looked kind of messy with the headcovers that came with them, and I like this simple look. I got the all-black covers for my woods and hybrid.
  11. I like a visor when I play Golf, which is kind of funny since I spend about half my life wearing an old Red Sox cap.
  12. The thing that's going to make the show a success is the guests. Hopefully the rest of the golfers will be as entertaining as Rice and LT.
  13. Hi from the Merrimack Valley! Some sort of local sandtrap.com meetup sounds interesting!
  14. I caught the first half or so of the show and found it suprisingly entertaining. Was absolutely blown away by LT's putting game.
  15. do you remember if there were any other LH clubs there?
  16. I use a glove until I pull out my putter.
  17. How much for the Powerbilt wedges?
  18. I think I'm going to have to give the Dalton movies another look.
  19. I'm hoping AK goes on a tear and gets his first major. I don't really see that happening, though. As far as Tiger's F-Bomb, wouldn't it be smart for CBS to stow the long-range microphone once in a while?
  20. Try Hillview GC (link) in North Reading. The pro there is Chris Carter and he's been highly recommended by some of my buddies.
  21. +1 for Casino Royale. Daniel Craig is hands down the best Bond since Connery.
  22. With a pretty interesting round 1 in the books it looks like this will shape up to be a pretty interesting Masters.
  23. If Left-handers are better ball strikers, I must be doing something REALLY wrong out there...
  24. + 1 for TJ Maxx and Marshalls. They usually have a big push of Golf apparel a little later in the spring.
  25. I have a driver, hybrid, irons and wedges from Gigagolf. They've been great clubs, this will be my third season playing with them. No complaints about any of the clubs, and the customer service was great when I ordered. DaSportsGuy - They have forged muscleback irons and wedges. Look for "m510 Forged Muscle" for the irons.
