  1. Somebody chipping onto the putting green while others are practice putting. I can't relax while someone is doing this .
  2. I think these are very good answers, and I always use tees under these conditions, as I find it very difficult to make good contact. I didn't know it would wear on the golf club anymore then regular sod/dirt, but I will keep that in mind.
  3. Now that would be interesting in this case, cutting the hole in the rough? 😁
  4. PGA golfers are such great ball strikers that you never see them blade a shot like he did in this incident. So what's the difference? It was the conditions that he was hitting the ball under. Personally, I think he did try to bite off more than he could chew under those conditions, and yeah if he did pull it off, we would be calling him gutsy, great ball striker, or Tiger-esque. I often see PGA golfers in similar situations just clearing an abutting hill from a bunker by a mere inch or two, they are that good. Occasionally they come down to my level and make a mistake like Theegala apparently did. I was actually pulling for him to win because he hasn't won yet, but maybe that's why he hasn't, making decisions like that under pressure? I don't know if he has been interviewed to discuss it, but it would be interesting to hear what he did have to say.
  5. Seems a correct assessment to me, although still a poor decision on his part. It looked like he was trying to do too much with his shot which probably put a lot of pressure on himself which in turn caused his poor swing. Sometimes you just have to take your medicine and ensure you get out of the bad situation with the least amount of damage, and not attempt a hero shot. I missed his tee shot but the announcer said it was a poor decision off the tee box. Maybe one could say his biggest mistake was not in the bunker, but back at the Tee Box.
  6. Not a very tactful thing to do after someone it's their tee shot on the par-3. It would irk me a little bit, but I would just deal with it and move on. I might kindly ask the pro shop if this is standard procedure, putting the responsibility on them.
  7. I totally agree. I don't understand why a left handed batter, for example, doesn't punch a shot through the now vacant left side of the infield ? Even a hard bunt down the left side would do the job.🙄
  8. MLB changes for 2023, what do you think? The MLB Is Shifting Away From Defensive Shifts, Aiming for “Best Form of the Game” What is the MLB’s new shift rule? Learn about how Major League Baseball officials are cracking down on defensive...
  9. Mentioned a few times and probably common to everybody, is the amount of commercials (Especially the obnoxious emu commercials). Also, getting the split screen to appease the golf fans doesn't do much for me.
  10. Under controlled circumstances: "In other words, the Coriolis effect is real."
  11. Amazing, KB not having a great round on Sunday? The only person surprising me even more not having a good round on Sunday is Jordan Spieth.
  12. One thing that makes golf more enjoyable to watch on TV is shot tracker. When it wasn't available it was like watching a golfer pose and wondering where the ball went. Now I can follow it from club head to it's resting position very easily.
  13. Scheffler is looking like his #1 ranking .
  14. I agree. Putters and drivers I put into the same category, if I'm not hitting one of them confidently I will look for a new one. Not like a short bad spell, but more consistently hitting it bad and losing confidence in it. Then I will go and get a new club. This could be a yearly event as well. To me, it's exciting standing over and gaming a new driver/putter. This is an official warning to my existing driver/putter!
  15. A global pandemic thread that doesn't get a comment since April 27 is a statement in and of itself.
