Durability on GigaGolf, Pinemeadow, and Hireko.

BINGO!!!!! -
Who cares what other people use. No one has ever won a major with one, and the players that use them aren't regular winners either. Doesn't seem like much of an advantage to me

Here is the 8 iron brand new And the same club a few minutes ago.... The 8 iron is my main practice club, and I was a total beginner last year, so it has received more abuse, poor swings, hosel rockets, chunks, shanks, and rocks than the average club. I think it has gotten along rather well.... -

Agreed. If you go GigaGolf, spend the extra $5 bucks a club and get the Premium TrueTemper shafts and Golf Pride grips.... -

I've had my GigaGolf irons for over a year now, and except for normal wear on the club face, they look good as new. I can take pictures if you want.... -
A combo set, however you make it happen, is a no brainer IMO

I have a Nike SQ 4wd as well

Hey I saw this too!!!! Fortunately I had my recorder and was able to record what it sounded like

The clubs in my bag consist of: Nickent- Driver, 23* hybrid Nike- 4wd Callaway- 20* Hybrid Titleist- pw-7 GigaGolf- Putter, 56* Wedge, 6-4 iron There is no difference in quality, craftsmanship, or durability from the GigaGolf's to any of my other clubs, in fact except for the Titliest the GigaGolf's are the oldest clubs in my bag. The most expensive club in my bag was the 4wd and it was under $80. I bought everything new except for the Nickent Hybrid (marketplace at Sandtrap) and the Titleist (inherited) Equipment does not have to be expensive

I think about stepping up a curb with my left leg.....

So i've been seeing the Advertisements for the Nike Pro Combos. They have Cavity Backs for low Irons, Muscles for the mid, and blades for the high. Does anyone do this on their own? For the last year I've done my own sort of done my own combo set. I use GigaGolf Cavity Backs for my 6-4 Irons, and Titleist DCI 990 for my 7-pw. Just curious if anyone else did this, since it makes perfect sense to me....

If the Fairway is wide, I use my driver, But usually I use my 4wd. Even though I hit my driver pretty good, my poor swing are way left. My poor swings with the 4wd aren't nearly as bad, and there is only about 15 yards difference between my 4wd and Driver. I am playing in a Charity Tournament May 14th, which will be my first competitive tournament ever. I'm debating on not even taking my Driver...

I have a slight draw in my shot, so I always address with the clubface opened a hair...

They also added almost every season of BBC Top Gear. Good thing I'm on spring break, otherwise i'd be calling for a sub...

WHAT??!!?? Not liking Top Gear is not possible In fact every time someone says they don't like BBC Top Gear, A kitten dies. Think about what you just did...

I don't know if I should be flattered or pissed? For what it's worth out of the 12 clubs in my bag, my putter, 56* wedge, 4, 5, 6, iron are GigaGolf. my 7-pw are Titleist 990's that used to be my dad's. My dad passed away and I just like to use them cause they were his, and to be honest I probably hit the GigaGolf Cavity Backs a little better, but I love my Poppa so it is what it is. The only clubs I have bought from GigaGolf I didn't like where the Hybrids. And it's not cause they are bad quality or anything, it's just I like hitting a 5 and 4 iron better than a 6 and 5 hybrid. And the Shafts are all TruTemper Feather Flight Premiums on my clubs, and I payed another $2 per club to get Golf Pride Tour Velvet Grips...

Used to play a Nickent Pipe. Now I play a GigaGolf Center Cut Classic SP9.
-
I play GigaGolf Cavity backs for my 4, 5, and 6 irons. I also use a GigaGolf Putter and Wedge. GigaGolf is coming out with some new designs and branding this spring. They are trying for a more unique and individualized look to their clubs.

Did Haney make Ray Romano switch to Blades? How did that work out? -
custom length clubs for tall beginner?
nuck81 replied to beginner2's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
What are you even talking about? The dude wants to know how much longer his clubs should be than standard. Were you just trying to prove you're awesome? Cause you're awesome.... -
I love threads that turn into yardage battles. My home Driving Range has a line of Pine trees at the end of the Range that are exactly 250 yards. Most guys don't know this since there aren't yardage signs just flags. You can stand there for maybe 20 minutes and hear at least 6 guys think they just hit a 300 yard drive when it lands 30 yards in front of the tree's. My favorite thing ever is the look on their face when I tell them pines are 250 and they really only hit 200 yards plus roll. I've only hit over the trees once in the last year, and hit too the tree's a handful of times in the last year. I've only seen four other guys hit it over, and no one can do it twice in a row, and that's counting all the college guys that play at Murray State. My point is pretty nobody hits it as far as they think they do, and most guys are nutting the piss out of the ball to hit over 250 consistently

Hands to close messing up my swing?
nuck81 replied to jesusjones's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
In my lesson yesterday we worked on bringing my hand closer into my body, especially the right arm. We worked on the feeling that my right arm is attached and the hands are crowding in to my body. I had been over reaching, and swinging from my toes... -
custom length clubs for tall beginner?
nuck81 replied to beginner2's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
If you just want a quick idea on what kind of adjustments you need, you can go to the GigaGolf site, plug in your stats, and it will give you a general idea of your length and lie adjustments. I'd take that info, go to wherever it is, you're going to get fitted and use that as a starting point. But if you're that tall, you're hurting yourself by getting things standard... -
Rocco Plays on stock Callaway X Series (I'm sure he's moved up from the X-22's by now) And I'd Say he's pretty good. Who Cares what your friends think, keep hitting it past them...
