  1. I'll add a vote for the Rescue Dual...I can tee off with it if need be or hit it off of the fairway or rough. Ryan
  2. Actually have never hit a Vokey, but I love my Cleveland CG10s in the black pearl finish! Probably won't switch any time soon.. Ryan
  3. Has anyone used them, own them, etc? Thinking about buying one, looks like a neat concept with the C-Grooves. Thanks, Ryan
  4. Either 7,8, or 9. I guess if I had to choose one it would be the 8 just like everyone else. Ryan
  5. I've always heard great things about Mizuno, and I think Titleist makes a great players iron, but you may as well try a bunch out. I would say based on design the most forgiving players irons would be the R7 TPs, Titleist 755s, or maybe Adams Idea players irons. Good luck! Ryan
  6. Last year I was hitting it about 160 on the fly, probably 170 with roll, but in the offseason I've changed my swing and have a lot more clubhead speed now so we'll see what happens! Ryan
  7. I have two courses that I play normally, and I ride one because I work there and I can for free and it's a really hilly course, and the other I've walked every time I've played there. Ryan
  8. I really don't care for the NBA. The only team I like to watch is the Suns because of their run and gun offense and Hall of Fame point guard Steve Nash. I'm a huge Duke fan though, so I devote all of my basketball time to either playing or watching NCAA. Ryan
  9. It said in Golf Digest that they were going to have a new member of the NXT family come spring, but that's about all I know... RYan
  10. I would say that you just need to hit clubs. The best advice I could give other than that would be to look for high quality used clubs. Personally, I look on ebay and can find great deals on even new clubs there. I just bought a set of NEW R7 irons for $415 when the retail on them is around 800 or 900. That's what I would say! Good luck, Ryan
  11. I'm stickin with Taylormade...best drivers on the market IMO and proven by number of sales and number of people on this forum that use them...excellent fairway woods and hybrids, the irons are getting better all the time, RAC wedges are always a popular club (though I like my Clevelands), and you can't really go wrong with a Rossa putter. Taylormade gets my vote! Ryan
  12. He's helped it a ton in my opinion. He's the most fun player to watch. He's aggressive and it works, he shows emotion that people can relate to, and he attracts a full range of audiences from kids to much older kids! Ryan
  13. In my opinion, if Jack and Tiger played when both were (or are in Tiger's case), Tiger would win for the simple fact that he can reach about every par 5 in 2 and have a legitimate shot at eagle. It would be a fun match to watch though! Ryan
  14. Apparently nobody has a chance but Tiger! Once they get to the longer course he's head and shoulders above the rest of the field, no question about it. Ryan
  15. I have a Walter Hagen stand bag with the backpack straps...tend to walk one of the courses in my hometown quite a bit! Ryan
  16. That's great! I have the Rescue Dual 19* but and am thinking about getting another to replace my 3 iron. Have also thought about trying the Adams Idea Pro hybrids after they got the editors choice on the Hot List in Golf Digest. Good luck with the 2, 3, and 5s when you get 'em! Ryan
  17. I believe that the ProV1x has less spin. It could be the other way around, but I think the Xs have less spin and the ProV1s are a little softer around the green and have more spin. Hope this helps! Ryan

    Go Colts!

Sorry to all my Bears fan friends, but I'm rooting for the Colts and Peyton Manning in a couple weeks! Ryan P.S. Party at my house!
  19. Congrats on the new set! It's great to find clubs that make you feel so confident! Ryan

    Warm Up

I hit the range if I can and depending on how much time I have I start with my lob wedge and work down going every club or every other club and hit each until I'm comfortable with it, maybe 5-10 times. Then I go to the first tee and forget everything I just did! Ryan
  21. To each his own I guess...let 'em use them if they want I say! Ryan
  22. Here it is...beautiful course in Western Illinois! www.golf.wiu.edu Come by and see me in the pro shop sometime! Ryan
  23. It's an excellent concept, but I'm not goin to the bank to take out a loan just yet! Think I'll stick with my R7 for a while! Ryan
  24. I hit the 19* TM Rescue Dual and I love it...very confident in it. Ryan
  25. I always put a silver pocket angel my grandma gave me in my pocket for good luck. I'm not sure if it works or not, but it makes me feel right when I tee off on 1. Ryan
