The real differences in the Titleist golf balls

You would be surprised to see how much longer you're able to hang onto the ball through your round.

The negative flip side side of that is, you will be surprised how long someone will search for a $4 ball ...

When behind or paying with these folks I find myself saying ... please for the love of god, take a drop, and lets finish this round before sunset!

Spin is spin. There are no balls that "minimize side spin" while "increasing backspin."


That's about what I thought. So ... the heck with spin. At least for the time being.

I have to agree with the badger on this one. The ball makes a difference. If you choose to play a high spin ball for better bite into the greens, you also have to be prepared for more spin with your driver. For scrambles I hit Pinnacles (or similar) with the driver because of the raw distance but also because of the less spin. For my remaining shots, it's a Pro V1 or similar.
