Well I finally bit the bullet and decided to buy the bigscreen HD tv to see the Tiger show this year in HD. All I can say is HD is amazing and I can't wait until Thur. I think I'll have to call in sick to work. .

HD for golf events are just rediculous....The picture is soo good--its like you are actually a spectator..

NBC did that a lot. CBS has usually been first to get HD cameras in the hands of the roving guys, but NBC has kind of caught up. You can still get some SD cameras from NBC.

Fortunately, not at Augusta. CBS and all HD. :)

Golf on HD is totally sick. I read that scalpers are selling pre-round practice badges to Augusta for around $700 and well over a G for weekend badges, watching the game on HD almost feels like you're there... minus all the walking and the $8 beers

I got the Vizio 47 lcd tv from costco and it is nuts how crystal clear HD is. My old TV was like looking through drunkvision, I'm like did he hit the ball yet ? damn. . haha I cant wait

oh, youll like it a lot. my family just got a 50 inch plasma after having an old 27 inch cheapo, wow, what a difference, its crazy how good the picture is.
