I'm curious. Is Tiger the straight shooter he seems to be? I haven't ever heard a negative thing that he's done off the course. I know he's married now, but I bet he could have done some crazy things in his college years.

Anything??

I dont think..Ive never heard anything about him..If he did something--there would be publicity to this day

A gossip column in the NY Post ran a blind item, last year. In it, they wrote, i'm paraphrasing, "What major sports star agreed to a Men's magazine cover shoot in order to dispell rumors of using escort services?"

That week, Tiger appeared on Men's Fitness' cover, describing his workout routine including pics. Coincidence? Who knows? Being a NYorker, though, I've seen crazier.

Yes but this is Tiger Woods--the most recognizable sports figure on the PLANET...not some soccer star in England that nobody in America has ever heard...id love to see the link of that story

MJ is Michael Jordan, a global icon. Elliot Spitzer is the Governor of New York. I don't know who is the soccer star you are referring to.

I'm fairly certain Tiger does not consider himself Christian. He even skipped his kid's baptism in Sweden last fall, IIRC. Earl was never very religious and his mom is from Thailand, so the likelihood he's Christian is slim at best. Perhaps the closest Tiger gets to believing in a Christian God is when he says his name followed by "Dammit."

More uninformed drivel from r7 425. I think Tiger is as squeaky clean as he's portrayed. He's been very careful in choosing the women he lets get close to him, just like everyone else in his life.

I think the shock value, for me, was eliminated when our politicians became embroiled in sex scandals. Congressman who voted against gay rights but carrying out a closeted homosexual affair, my former gov and his escorts, former Gov. Jim McGreevey.

That does not mean that I don't believe Tiger carries himself, negatively, in his private life or puts himself at risk. I just won't be surpised, is all.

I'm not exactly disagreeing with you here, but how are you "fairly certain" he's not Christian? I have never heard him say anything about his religion. That doesn't mean he hasn't said something, but it is hard to peg down what his beliefs are.

Earl was never very religious and his mom is from Thailand, so the likelihood he's Christian is slim at best.

That's tough to nail down. Just because his mom is Thai doesn't mean she isn't Christian.

No kidding. I'm seeing just how many "facts" this guy makes up.

I think this is true too. Tiger is so focused that I doubt he is going to mess up his personal life enough to affect his professional life.
