check out these two shots of adam scott...they've really helped me cure my slice ( i was coming at the ball with my right hand underneath the ball instead of at it...my left hand wasn't facing the target, it was above it.)

Anyways, look at adam when he's at address and look at him at impact. It's sick.

Thats what i am working on at the moment,i am swinging slower and creating
more lag,i am trying to keep my left wrist straight at impact while sending my hands towards my target. My ball flight just cuts through the air and the power i have created is class, besides from that regular 8 iron 150 yard shot that just goes up and comes down with out any zing to it.I can see my handicap dropping a lot in the next month with this change.Actually my swing is more smooth than slower, with the lag at impact i bet my swing speed would read higher even though i feel like i am swinging slower, hard to explain.....

aeroburner tp 10.5 stiff
superfast tp 2.0 3 wood stiff
Halo 25 and taylormade tp 19 degree hybrids
miura cb 202 and wedge
tp 52* wedge, tp 56* taylormade spider mallet putter

Here's the secret:

At address the right elbow should point to the right hip, and the left elbow should point to the left hip. Now... there is no conscious hand action in the golf swing what so ever... so something has to bring the hands back to a correct, square, impact position. This is the job of the left elbow.

Before impact, the wrists will be cocked, and the shaft will be about parallel with the ground. Then, the left arm takes control. If you rotate the left elbow so it points at the left hip like it did at address, your club face will be square. Try it and see.

And to do this you need a weak/neutral grip. I don't think it works with a strong grip. This is one of the reasons Ben Hogan switched to the weak grip... with a strong grip you are forced to flip your hands over at the end, so if you aren't perfect you will hook the ball every once in a while.

It's amazing how many pros would benefit from this little trick.

Love it. Right out of the Ben Hogan 5 Fundamentals book.

I read this in the magazine named Golf or something like that, there is an article by Adam Scott in which he explains some keys to make the swing you want. I'm following this steps and I'm hitting straighter with a more power.
