I am a righty and when I swing back, my left knee dips. However I'm not hitting fat or anything. Is this a bad thing?

Sounds almost like a stack and tilt...could you elaborate?

Ok um well when I swing back, to coil better and get better turn, my left knee dips a bit. A stack and tilt swing, you keep your weight on your front foot don't you? My weight shifts from back to forward as I swing. I am not worried i just wondered if thats normal.

I think I get what you are saying and I think it is perfectly natural for the front knee to dip a little and kind of point down towards your back foot a little. Just be sure to keep your back knee flexed throughout the swing, that will ensure that there is not too much dipping and excess leg movement. Keeping that right knee flexed improved my ball striking drastically. I do not consciously think about my front knee at all, if my back knee is in good position everything else seems to fall in place.

If you check out this comparision video of Tiger and Adam Scott you can see that they both have a bit of left knee movement in the back swing.
