Yeah, that is quite strange since the 440cc D3 is said to provide more workability. I can't really figure this out either. My only geuss is that it is somewhat specific for Adam Scott

That's the winner, I think. I'll check with Titleist if y'all want, but the face angle on every 909 driver is 0.5 degrees open and the weighting is neutral, so Adam must play a slightly draw biased model.

Which is a little surprising to me - a lot of the power drivers prefer a more controllable fade. [offtopic]What's up with that putter in the article? Looks like a Zebra.[/offtopic]

That is a really ugly putter.

Anyway, the reason Scott thinks the d2 is draw biased is because it has about 200 more RPM of spin than the d3 which means it's easier to draw the ball than fade it. But I still wouldn't call that "draw biased."

I don't understand what you are talking about, the 200 extra rpm would be on fades too, not just draws, so I don't know how your statement would be plausible. And I'm pretty sure if he says its draw biased, that it is infact draw biased. I'm pretty sure Titleist isn't gonna go," Here Adam, your new draw driver," and have the driver be neutral or open.

I think its more about the ball change for adam. The new pro v1 spins more off the tee for him, so its easier to work. Maybe with the 909 d3 the ball flight is now lower, so it won't have a tendency to draw as much.
