I'm sorry to burst your bubble but I'm pretty sure those numbers he gave you are not accurate. If you are getting ball speeds in the range of 150-157 with a 100-105mph club head speed, resulting in a smash factor of pretty much 1.5. Even the plus handicap above is only managing a smash factor of 1.4. I believe my club head speed is 95-100 with ball speed in the 130's.

Keep in mind he's also swinging that fast and accurately. More or less anyways. It plays within his game, regardless.

115-120 in february, dunno how accurate those things are anyway.

the maximum distance I have attained far exceeds the carry and roll of a 120SS.

Speaking of ..what is the max distance attainable at 120SS? 130SS?

Kool

There is a formula for distance and speed of ball though. Ill ask the google.

SS and pure impact would generate the 1.5 ball speed effect. But if us mere mortals are able to drive a ball with roll to 350 yards max our SS have to be a certain minimum speed.

there are some long hitters here.

The best golfers in thw world are on the internet. The guys I golf with must not have computers as they can only drive it 225- 275 yards. Of course we are at see level.

I'm not arguing that you hit the ball 370 with some wind on your back but 137 club head speed, that's ridicules for a 13 handicap. I don't believe a 13 handicap when he says he hit a golf ball 370 on to a green, maybe 370 but on to a green, really?
