So with the rains in Southern California yesterday I had the day off. Been working on a painting for a cousin and realized I needed some paint. I head over to Wal-Mart because they sell Krylon spray paint. I pull into my parking spot, open the door and find a needle at my feet. Upon more inspection, a metal spoon and rubber tube. First class customers over at the Wal-Mart. Pick up some toilet paper, doritos, perhaps some bedding and of course some smack.

Someone shooting up in a parking lot...leaving their crap behind. That same parking lot is used by families and small kids.....

For sure. I mean I made this thread with a light-hearted tone. But I was honestly disgusted. Porter Ranch is a pretty nice part of town too. I grew up right in this area. Never in a million years did I think I'd ever stumble onto this scene. At least not here. This was a real shock.

Did you call the police or notify store management/security? The reason I say that is it could have been anyone's stuff. Customer, homeless person in parking lot, employee, anyone. Also Walmart has extensive video surveilance that covers their parking lots. They could possibly figure out who's it was and take some kind of action.

Damn thats not good at all. I've never seen anything like that, but have seen some meth cooking crap thrown out on the side of the road. Thats the big drug around here and when the dumb asses get done cooking they just pitch the leftovers out where ever they please. Coolers, liter bottles, tubing, etc.

I frequent the Wal Mart in question here, and can attest to its dirtiness. Unfortunately it is one of the only Wal-Marts in that part of Los Angeles, which is not so great south of the place, so it attracts the best of the best!

As far as contacting the police, it is no use. They will never investigate it beyond maybe trying to get some prints off of it. I would have at least told management so that they could clean it up so that a child or animal doesn't injure themselves (PetCo next door, lots of curious dogs in the parking lot).

I was there one night and went after midnight which was a big mistake...

As I'm leaving the store with my roommate these 3 guys drive into the space beside my car and roll the windows down and I figure we are gonna get stabbed, they looked like military types. I've learned not to turn your back to people since they are less likely to try something. I face them and say "whats up?" They ask if we have any pills? I say nope sorry man. They ask if we'd like to buy some. I say sorry not into that. Then they ask if we knew where to get some, and again we say nah. So they drive off, no harm done.

But lets just say I was a drug dealer. Would I trust 3 guys with shaved heads rolling up in a car asking me to buy drugs? They could have weapons in the car and no one on earth would trust that situation. Luckily I had my Kahr 9mm on me so I played it cool since I'm surgical with that thing, but people these days... at WALMART
