Anyone have any info on these? How do they compare to 690 mbs, 695s, 670s, etc? forging process? Age? If i put new grips on these baby's how close will they be to the 710 mbs? How offset? Thanks.

EDIT: Also, what are the comparable mizuno irons and how do they stack up?

i thnk they are a 1/4 inch longer and a degree more upright than the non dot versions, with new grips they will probably be close to the same i mean how much technology can you put in new blades?plus the 690.mb also have v-grooves which i believe are conforming.the 690.mb were made in 05 i believe.i used to own a set thier good clubs

Don't know about the 690s, but I have hit the Nike blades. Not as smooth/soft as my Mizunos. Probably why I bought them.

mp57s are forged. Talked a playing friend into them over a year ago. He still loves them. The 68s are softer, but way less forgiving than the 57s

I had the 690.MB's a few years back. Great clubs, I would think they are very similar to the new 710's, definitely look almost the same.

I sold my 690.MB's and totally regret doing so now looking back on it. Great clubs that I'd love to throw back in the bag when I'm swinging well.

    • I’m not sure I agree. It’s just what the majority find more entertaining. Most people prefer women’s gymnastics over men in the Olympics. How much hype is there with the men’s compared to the women’s? I bet you can rattle off several big names in women’s gymnastics and only a handful of men. Women’s tennis …same thing. And sure enough, their purses are the same. However, WNBA, awful…LPGA, not near as much interest than PGA. Don’t think it’s really that complicated IMO.

    • Hence your Avatar!😜 I drink a lot of water during the day if I’m playing or exercising. I get cramps otherwise.
    • If you walk up to a food/drink kiosk at Magic Kingdom and ask the person for a cup of "magic water" they will give you a small cup of Sprite for free. About 3 fingers worth. They don't sell alcohol at MK anymore so I go over to one of the courses while she hangs out there.
    • This isn't some kind of natural fact. It's a lot more complicated than this implies.
