Today I went out and at the 1st green I noticed I didn't have a putter in the bag. I decided to putt with a 21 degree hybrid instead (Not one of the large headed ones, it's the same size as the G15 driving iron).

I played great golf and sunk some great putt's and missed a few stupid ones as well.

I shot a 86.
Front Nine 49 (13 over)
Back Nine 37 (1 over par!)

Anybody else forget their putter before?

The lack of a putter got you more focused on playing good golf perhaps. It is possible to putt better with a hybrid if you are more focused when putting.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

once i did i just gave my self a two putt unless it was within 5 ft

Was thinking about doing that but I said it wouldn't be a real score.

It made me focus more on my wedge shots and chipping, if I didn't get it close I'd risk a 3 putt.

I played a course in cancun and rented clubs from the clubhouse. I chipped in on 1 and on the second green realized they'd given me a lefty putter. I played the 9 out with the back of a blade (karsten style) putter. Shot a 43 if memory serves. Even lagged a 50+ footer to about 8 inches.

LOL great story man, thats awesome! Maybe take the head off your putter and stick a hybrid head on there. Now that would be awesome!

when I'm practicing for some reason as a penalty to myself if I don't get on the green in regulation then I don't get to use my putter to putt... Unfortunately that means I end up putting with my wedge 10+ holes that round... But it helps me to work on concentrating on getting the GIR

but then your putting doesn't improve...

Even if you don't hit GIR you'll still have a chance of saving par. Doing it like that gets rid of that chance.
