What will his celebration be like? Or will Elin be waiting on 18 to greet him? What do you guys think?

... it is final confirmatiom that all the other players on tour suck.

Surely he can't win it. Can he?
I was listening to that guy who wrote "Mens are from Mars, etc" on Larry King Live and he said that when Tiger comes back he's going to be so happy to be playing golf that he might actaully smile and laugh, and all the women in the world will immediately think, you bastard! (not his words). Would you cheer for him if your wife or girl was standing next to you?
Don't worry about the eighteenth on sunday. On every tee, every day, it's going to be sooooo awkward.
I can't wait.

well, since you're not a professional golfer, what does that make you? it's not that the others suck, cause in fact they're the top .001% of golfers in the world, it's that tiger is like michael jordan, wayne gretzky, pele, etc. when unrivaled athletic ability, mental fortitude, luck, and a lifetime of specializing a sport come together in the form of a person, amazing things can happen.

but after all that has transpired, he is still the favorite. ask yourself, would tiger woods play in a tournament if he didn't feel he had a chance to win?

I'll cheer for him even with my wife watching with me (I think she still likes him even though he did what he did). It will be awkward with anticipation on every swing....

Thank god you're here to put me in my place.
What I meant to say is that if someone, anyone can come back after a four month layoff, after going through an unequaled public humiliation and personal disgrace, to come back on the flukiest course in the world and beat an opposition that have had months of tournament play and experience under their belt, and win, it might mean that the standard of everyone else is not as high is it might seem.
BTW Tiger missed the cut in the 2006 US Open after his father died, and has since said he wasn't ready. And, alledgedly, he missed last year's British Open cut (oops, I meant "The Open" (you sound like one of those people) after his wife caught him out on one of his trists causing a big fight. Personally, I think Tiger just wants to get out of the house.
Again, thank you for your patience.

Tiger is tiger even after a few months without playing in a tourney it wouldn't surprise me if he won.

I think it would be an extremely muted celebration for him. He would go and meet whoever he has with him - probably 50/50 on an Elin appearance. As for his interview, i didn't much care about all the questions tom was asking, which were all so similar. I wanted to know what his schedule would be, whether he would play any other tourneys this year, how his golf game was at the moment, whether his putting has got worse.....
What I Play:

He hasn't won any of the previous 4 Masters. I don't think he is going to break that losing streak this year.

I hope for his sake he doesn't win. Winning would just confuse the sense of self-loathing and introspection he has been cultivating in his "rehab".

Despite what he's done off the course, he's still the best golfer in the world, and debatable the best that's ever played. that being said i can't help but root for the guy. if he does win, i think it'd be better for him as well as the public to see that he can overcome adversities, even if they were self imposed. in my eyes, yes he made too many mistakes to name but it's only shown he's human. it's good for golf that he returns, it's good for his family that he comes to grips off course with his demons, and it's good for most of all himself to realize that there's light at the end of the so very incredibly dark tunnel he's found himself in. i wish him no more luck than all the rest of the players in the field. it's going to be a great tourney nonetheless.

If tiger wins all the other players should just line up around the 18th and commit seppuku. It would be final confromation that all pro players are just toilets where tiger parks his bricks.

He won't. Should he do so however, I'd like a decent BBQ sauce to go with my hat!

Messy, but you may be right here. Not sure Augusta would approve however...

She will either be at Augusta or not. I sorta think not. If she does not attend I doubt she would run out there if he is in contention just to be on 18.

I think there is a strong chance he misses the cut.

If Tiger wins????

My guess......he'll cry a little, put on a good show, do the awards ceremony, some type of controlled interview afterwards, and then bang a couple of cart girls in the men's room at Augusta.....gotta keep up that rep

Some personal favorites I'd love to see win:

Els, Vijay, Goosen, Lefty, and Camilo

    • Day 113: 4/18/24 Stack training progress check after finishing my 6th program, and 4th Full Speed Spectrum Training session, which is recommended for my next program.     Gained 1 mph with driver, 195 g, 95g. Maintained with 280 g , and gained 2 with 145 g. Lost 1 mph on both lead and trail arm. Felt like I lost distance in my last round…
    • Please forgive the sweaty shirt.  Just got off the treadmill and decided to do my Evolvr drill.
    • I'd agree that 4w seems like the right play here. I'm not a course designer or anything but that hole looks like it could be so much more fun if everyone played from those front 2 tee boxes that are right outside your shot cone and they cut down most of the trees down that left side of the fairway. That would give risk reward to long hitters who want to try and push it up to that left fairway, allow more players to reach that second fairway, and still allowing it to be perfectly playable for someone who only hits driver like 150yds off the tee.   Yeah it looks like 4iron aimed at that inside edge of the right bunker is the play there, especially if you don't expect a 20mph tailwind again. If it is down wind again, 5iron would be just fine too, it'd still get you inside 150yds for your approach.  Keep in mind tee marker locations too, you measured that one from the back so if those tee markers are moved all the way towards the front of that box then 5 iron is probably best just to be sure that right bunker is never in play.
    • Day 1: worked on my drill for my arms.
    • Hit my tee shot just into the penalty area and barely found it. Swung hard just in case I hit it. It was slightly downhill with a heavy tailwind. I don't actually hit my 9i 170 yards.
