Srixon golf balls any good? In particular TriSpeed? I can get 2dozen for $30, If its a quality ball I might give them a shot!

Re: Srixon?

The Srixon Z-Star & Z-Star X are superior to Pro V1's in many people's eyes..

... The Trispeed are a good cheap ball, the Trispeed Tour is a better ball if you can get that deal for those.

All in all, great brand though.

Re: Srixon?

I play the Trispeed right now. They aren't bad. For a cheaper ball they feel pretty good to me.

Re: Srixon?

I've played the AD333 and TriSpeed quite a bit and like both as "budget" balls. I like them as well or better then Bridgestone E series, or NXTs.

Re: Srixon?

I play the AD333 for the price and like them pretty well. Also, I putt with the new Z-Star yellow and LOVE them just can't afford to play them exclusively right now! HA. I have played the tri-speed and would put it just above the AD333, for that price they'll be worth it for sure!!!!

Good balls, the trispeed tour has a very soft feel. They are similar in performance to Bridgestones E series, but with a different feel, subtle differences, seem to hold in the wind well.

Re: Srixon?

The TriSpeed is a great ball. I took advantage of the 2 doz. fo $30 as well, after having payed $25 for a single doz. in Las Vegas last year while on vacation.

Re: Srixon?

You can't go wrong at that price, go for it. Srixon make great balls, I personally think the AD333 is the best 2 piece ball on the market and better than many 3 piece balls.

Just played a round with these on friday and really liked them. Not a bad ball for 20/dozen.

Re: Srixon?

+1 for the ad333's being a good budget ball, and I remember the Tri Speeds being good, too, but its been awile. My wifey plays the soft feels and she likes them.
You should be able to find them for 14-15$$ per dozen on sale.

This - love my Pro V1x. My buddy had some of those Yellow Srixons and gave me a sleeve and while I had no issue playing them, there is something about them I don't like. Whatever they use to seal the outer later of the ball gives if a "plastic" look where you can tell there is a layer there covering the urethane. Purely a cosmetic thing, but it "cheapens" the look of them to me.

I could play a Rock Flight and still probably shoot within a stroke of my handicap, though, so it's all mental.

Re: Srixon?

I'll play a Z-Star or a Z-Star X over a ProV1 or V1x anyday. Feels better I think, and the durability is about the same, and better even with the Tour Yellows....don't ask me why. All in all a great golf ball maker and have definitely made a fan outta me.
