I didn't buy a new set but did get a new vokey SM 58 last fall. Do I like it, yes. I've played bunches of wedges and I'd say my vokeys are my favorite. Honestly though, I'd say buy what looks good to you. There just isn't that much difference between the top wedges.

I got a Cleveland CG14 at Christmas to replace a stock X20 AW which gave me big problems on consistent distance.
CG14 = 50.08 // X20 = 50.11

X-Forged 56.14 works great as bunker club. Both CG14 and this club have smaller heads than stock AW.

Your mix is interesting. I've been considering picking up CG14 54* and 58*. I would probably use the 54 + 58 on courses with denser rough and more elevated greens (drop out a longer iron), and use the 56* on courses with more benevolent rough and softer sand.

Several posters here and golfers I've played with say the 58* is a lot easier to hit than a 60*, for people who have had trouble with LWs.

Don't know if I will come up with extra $180 before CG14 supply is depleted.

If you get this matched set, take an afternoon and set up a Pelz-style 3x4 distance card for your team of wedges.

Focus, connect and follow through!

I use Nickent Arc wedges. A 52, 54, and 60. I found the 54 on sale for $25 while I was looking for a 56so that's why I bought it. Still looking for a 56, but haven't found one yet.

I like them. They look good at address, and feel nice around the green.

Got my Vokey, MacGregor, and Adams wedge set last year-happy with all of them. I had a couple PING iWedges for about 2 weeks earlier this year, didn't care for them. Actually a really big fan of the Adams Tom Watson wedges, I just ordered a Tom Watson Classic 54/10 that gives me whatever possible wedge combination I could want-I now have a 52, 53, 54, 56, 58, and a 60.

You can get the 58* at rockbottom, in case you want to go 52/58 or 54/58.

I bought a new 60 & 56 degree Callaway X-Series Jaws wedges with Project X Flighted shafts(6.5) this season and absolutely love them. I will probably be ordering a 52 degree in the near future to round out my set. I had been playing a Vokey 60 & 55 degree for the last 4-5 years. Just wanted to try something new and I'm glad that I did.

I've owned Cleveland CG 12 and 588 wedges and had pretty good luck with them for the most part. At the present I own Ping M/B wedges (52 & 60, just bought a 54 and 58). I like the finish on them and I can get the ball up a little easier than I could with the Clevelands, which also means I blade the ball a lot less.

I brought my vokeys 56 and 62. Still getting used to them, with the different shape club head. But loving them! I also got much less bounce on these 2 wedges, so they is working really well for me.They are giving me a little more spin then my Cg12's.

As for your wedges. I really don't like the 4 wedge setup as you would have. I like 3 max unless the course is super short. But it;s all up to you, if I were you I would get 54 and 60.
Cleveland wedges are fantastic, only one I did not like was the Cg14's. But the new 15's and the 12's are awesome clubs! My old man is using the 15's and I used them last week and they are giving me just as much spin as my vokeys are!

Sorry for not understanding ..... why would anyone opt for 6.5 X Stiff shafts in wedges that are supposed to be played with touch and feel ?

Same with me, and recently I replaced the 56 and 60 with a 58 CG15 ..... I also had the vokey's 52/56/58/60 but the CG15 feels better to me.

I have been looking for a new set of wedges, but my old Cleveland 900's 52, 56 have been great and still work great. People are always amazed at how well I get these things to bite.

I bought 3 Vokeys last week, 48, 52, 56. My new G15 irons have a PW that's 45* so I started from there and went up. I've never owned a 60* and won't be looking to change in that direction until I much better around the greens (high handicapper here). I hit what I could get my hands on. I liked lots of wedges but the Vokeys just plain felt better to me. I've used them a few times and I think once I get used to them, they are going to be great. They check up much better than anything I've used before and I need to figure out when to be aggressive and when not to. Mostly though, I'm happy with the current setup. We'll have to see how I feel in a year

I have no problem with feel shots using those shafts. I use them in all of my irons so I guess I do it for a sense of consistency. There is quite a bit of a distance gap in all of my irons so I like the keep the shafts the same so that I don't get a different feel from a 7 iron or a 56 degree wedge.

on my 3rd set
went back to Vokey's and added a SV Tour 60

loving this set up
went high bounce on my 56 & 60, as im a digger and this helps keep my divots shallower and cleaner

the vokeys are heavier and have more of a square toe, which i like

I've been using the same gap wedge for three years, and the same sand wedge for about a year. It's all a feel thing and getting used to it.

If you gave me a pair of new vokey wedges tomorrow, I may not play as well with them. Once I had them for about a week or two I'd be fine though.
