Which one has or will gain the public eye quciker? Why?

My choice is Srixon because of the rumor of them picking up a top 10 player adding to their already good pros, also their marketing ad's not to bad either..

I picked bridgestone. Played with both balls and I thought the Brigdestone
330T played better than the pro v1x, my normal ball. If their willing to pony- up the money to get some big name players is another story. I also like the Srixon balls just not as well as the Bridgestone 330T. I can only speak how they played for my game.

I believe Srixon will probably be the next to join the big dogs, mostly because of Furyk and this rumored top-10 golfer. I am a Bridgestone guy myself when it comes to golf balls at least. I love the B330s.

I'm interested to see if that Srixon rumor comes true. It's always interesting to see who switches companies.

I picked Srixon since they already have Furyk (and others) as well as Rick Smith and the only two Bridgestone guys I know are Couples and Appleby. I love Freddy but his better days are behind him (not sure but doesn't he still use TaylorMade drivers??). Interesting to see if they can get this "rumored" top ten player although who on this list could it be?

2 Jim Furyk Srixon

4 Adam Scott Titleist

9 Sergio Garcia TaylorMade
10 Geoff Ogilvy Cobra

After hearing Ernie is out with Titleist, I got a feeling Els will be heading to Srixon.

i've tried the Srixon and both Bridgestone balls and didn't take a liking to any of them, but liked the Bridgestone comparitively.

however, if Srixon adds another big name they will definitely rise higher, expecially if it is Els . . . or any international player. I would be surprised if it is Toms as he is not as well known outside the states and Srixon would be trying to market all around the world as much as possible.

I prefer the Pro V1, and the Taylor Made TP red/black is being used i believe by Garcia and Goosen so that ball may also jump up, but realistically Titleist is not going to be seriously challenged.

i voted for srixon only because they have a higher profile on tour. they have furyk, lehman and allenby, right off the top of my head. bridgestone's stable consists of only appleby and couples. bridgestone has a great ball (b-330s), one that i played until i tried the callaway (hx56 tour). personally, i don't have a preference in the outcome of this poll, i just think the srixon is better positioned for a move up (i just don't see anyone making huge inroads on titleist's domination). if they bag another top 10 player, so much the better for them. looking at the list of top 10 players, i am having trouble seeing who they are referring to. if ernie is no longer under contract with titleist, then he would seem a likely suspect. but 4-10 are solid titleist players and i don't see any of them changing balls. btw, a few years ago, sergio was pitching maxfli balls (taylor made had just acquired them), and he was definitely still playing titleist, the point being they don't always play what they sell.

Ernie is still a Titleist player. Until that changes, it's all just rumors.

I said Bridgestone. I think they have a lot more marketing muscle. There are so many good products out there now that company resources could make the difference.

It might be true, that they have a bigger marketing muscle, but they might need it, to get the image of Bridgestone as a tyremaker out of peoples minds. And people might feel uneasy to play with equipment which brand is associated with something so different than golf.
