Ok so I have an R9 that I purchased in late fall that somehow (not exactly sure) has a blow out on the side of the heel.  It is not on the face, just to the right the face (left handed head).  Is there any chance TM would replace the head?

I would say TM will replace it with a newer model if they don't make that model anymore. Bring it to the shop you purchased it at and ask them to send it back to TM. Within 2 weeks you should have a new driver.

this shouldnt be a problem. tm will always replace broken clubs with the exact same or if they don't make the club anymore, the newest model. I did this with an ogio golf bag and ogio gave me a new grom golf bag within a week. adidas also gave me new tour 360 shoes cause of water proofing warrenty.

golf is a lot like life. the more you enjoy it, the better off you are. a3_biggrin.gif

I don't like to hear that. I recently bought a RBZ Driver and RBZ fairway wood.  I switched from the Callaway because it feels better.  The one thing I loved about Callaway, is the 2 times I had a problem with any of their clubs they replaced them no questions asked. I would like to think that if you get upset enough that someone will take care of the issue.

Is this the same R11 clubhead that you said they had replaced back in December?

As posted by crackedclub on 12/14/2012: "It was  a complete misunderstanding.. Taylormade replaced the cracked head once we got it straightend out.. I will definitely stay with Taylormade golf in the future.."

Taylormade will replace a cracked head as long as it's not a case of abuse. Sometimes even if the head is no longer under warranty.
