Im wondering how far I should hit a 3w, 4w, 5w?

Id say i have normal swing speed.  I hit my 7 iron 160yards...

I guess a better way to ask this question is what is the iron equivalent for the woods listed, in reference to distance?

Don't know about everyone else but for me that is not accurate. I hit my 5 iron about 175 and that thing has me hitting my driver 274. I hit drives normally about 230-235 in the air and will run out to about 250. Occasionally I get a hold of one and put an extra 10-15 yards on it but that's about it.

I found the distance calculator to be mostly correct.

The distance you really need to dial in is from 120 yards and in.  I like to hit 3/4 shots.  I need to figure out how to dial in those distances.

Apparently in relation to how far I hit my 5i I hit my driver no where. But once it gets down to my short irons it doesn't have me hitting them as far as I actually do.

It seems to adjust everything based on those questions; being aggressive probably means you hit short clubs farther, light build means you are better at swinging long clubs fast, draw tacks on distance to woods, and mechanics affects gapping.

It seems to be based on a traditional set of lofts, hybrids are not included, and I find the distances to be spotty above the 5-6 iron indicating a very hard swing while everything below the PW is pointless and inaccurate. It is fun to play with, but gapping, particularly in the long clubs, is a bit off.

I have myself listed as "aggressive" but now that I see passive as an option the numbers are a bit better. I'm someone who is a competitive player but I don't play aggressively really.

It construes an aggressive style player as an aggressive swinger. I can see how a more aggressive swing would help greatly with certain clubs getting more distance, but it's not the same as an aggressive style of general play.

My swing is still fairly "passive". I don't swing hard at it and I stay fairly compact which is probably one reason why I don't hit it far. My just below 5'7" 150 pound stature doesn't help either. Granted one of my friends not much bigger than me can hit it 300+ but his swing is very aggressive and he does a lot of things to set him up to hit it a long way but he does lack my consistency and accuracy.
