Was static fit in the early to mid 90`s with one of those old ping carts. I was fit in Green Dot with plus half inch shaft. I also got the JZ shafts. I played those clubs up until last year. Then I went and got fit with the new in flight Ping. I have always had a slight fade to a slice in my swing. This past year I picked up a set of i20`s with KBS shafts in white dot. I have never hit the ball straighter. now my fade is returning with a hard slice from time to time. what am I doing wrong?:-O

Driver      -  K15 10.5 w/ Ping TFC149D Shaft in stiff

4 Wood   -  Rapture V2 17.5* Aldila S-75

Hybrid    -   Super Hybrid SS 19* w/ Matrix Program

Irons      -   i20's 3-W, UW, SW & LW w/ KBS Tour Stiff +1/2" White Dot

Putter    -   White Ice #9 33"

Ball       -   B330-S & B330-RXS

                 D2 Feel

Slice is usually a result of being too fast or trying to kill it.I struggle with it myself.It shows up on my fairway woods when I slice them too or chunk it cause I am trying to get those extra yards(overswinging)

I have really let the club do the work over the last few years. I never try to kill it unless I'm in some deep stuff. I'm leaning to be more of a "swinger of the club" rather than a "hitter of the ball". Over the last couple of days since my first post I have been working on "grip". I have found that the "V" in my left hand was pointing to the left side of my neck. I now have it pointed to my right shoulder. I have not changed my swing at all, just my grip. There flying alot straighter and a couple yards farther as well. The club head is just more square at impact.

      Day 35, June 8. Before leaving for work this morning (yes, I'm posting this quite late relative to the practice), I spent 15 minutes practicing at home, into a net.  This time, it was primarily 9-iron (full swings), with some UW (full and half) and a few 6-iron.

      I'm liking this. Finally getting down hands in front of my trail leg pocket consistently at A6 with much better clubhead position (relatively not as tipped out). I can really pressure the shaft through impact with good face control  from this position and stay in balance. Won my first one v one march 5&4 against a 4 hcp who routinely drives it 35-40 yards past me in the men's club match play . Frustrated him with some solid iron play and air tight putting.

      Day 279 6-8  Worked on low point control skills work tonight. will be doing this for a few weeks. Tonight was just trying figure out how to get low point forward.  No ball.
