lie adjustment help. 6ft2

I would guess that you will need a lie adjustment; however, your lie angle is dependent upon the dynamics of your swing and may not match up with your static setup position.  The only way you can know for sure is to have your lie angle checked with a dynamic fitting process.  But you already knew that.

I am 6'1 and I play +1/2" and white dot (3 deg) and that is just right for me, so I think you will probably need them a little upright, but without knowing your swing it is impossible to determine.

I don't know how important it is anymore.  I got fitted and love my clubs.  They vary a little bit throughout, but are generally 1 1/4" long and 3* upright.  (Oh, and I'm 6'-3")

However, I took my old clubs to the range the other day and was hitting my 6 iron - an off the rack, standard length and lie, Titleist DCI 981 - just as well as my new 6 iron.  (Not quite as far, but ballflight was not noticeably different)

Possibly not something you really need to overthink until you notice that something is wrong.  Then perhaps, go get on a lie board and then have them bent later if need be.

Lie Adjustment is important, but you really need to develop a consistent and repeatable swing for it to really be beneficial.

A lie that fits your body is required to to develop a correct, consistent and repeatable swing. IMHO

im going to go with a few degrees up, NOT flat.  i could be wrong tho.  just ask my wife.

using Ping's static fitting on line, you are closer to 3.75* upright and .5" long for a conventional swing.

Without knowing your swing, no it is not essential. I am 6'2" also and just ordered a set of MP64s. I had a half inch added with no lie adjustment. Using the swing board, I could have altered the lie slightly and been alright, but the fitter and I decided that the results didn't warrant a change in lie.
