New 2007 Titleist Vokey Wedge Value

I just found a new - still in plastic - 2007 Titleist Bob Vokey SM56-14 left handed wedge with a steel shaft.  It still had the sticker price on it of $125.00 from 2007.

I gave the owner $20 for it.  Would anyone have an idea of its value??  I am not selling it but giving it to a friend as a gift who is new to golf and would like him to have an good understanding of the club and Vokey wedge history.

Yeah, unless they are antique or very rare, golf clubs don't tend to go up in value. In the sporting goods shops around me, I tend to see prior year wedges priced between $50-$70 bucks. You got a good deal for sure, but then again, you are giving it to a buddy so who really cares what it's worth??

At least it's got the old grooves.  That's bonus for your buddy.

I have the last model year with the old grooves.  It's a 58-08.  To me, it's worth a LOT more than $20!  I'd say you got a steal on a really nice wedge.  Good on you for gifting it to a friend.  He'll probably wear it out over the next 5-10 years.

Look on ebay..price will vary, but anywhere from 50.00 to 100.00

Left handed means it usually fetches less than a righty - $20-$30 seems to be reasonable. As it's a gift, the price is immaterial though.
