Hi guys

Just bought myself a Titleist 910D3 driver...

Haven't got to the range yet...was wondering if any members

use this club and if it has any "quirks"

I have one. Not sure what you mean by "quirks", but I love mine.

Hi David

Thanks for the welcome and for responding.

I guess what I meant was..the guy I bought it from has it set at -.7.5..I'll go with that for starters

and secondly, I usually tee it up opposite my left big toe with about a 15 degrees foot splay..

Hopefully I wont have to go searching for a new ball position...that really bugs me...shaft is a

That was supposed to be -.75

I also use the 910D3, and also love this driver!  When you bought it, did it come with the wrench and chart?  Not only does the loft go up and down, but the (effective) lie angle changes independently, so you can loft it up or down without closing or opening the face at address.

Yep, got the wrench and chart...no doubt I'll have a fiddle with the settings...God, I feel like a kid with a new toy...

It's a good driver and don't think it has any "quirks". With the D3 I would generally suggest going with a little extra loft since it is suppose to be a lower launching, lower spinning driver.

Compared to the 910 it is a lower spinning driver, but it is still on the higher end of drivers released around it. I think it only took off about 300-500 rpm on average from when I had my 910 and when I demo'd the 913. I'd almost say that a person could either just buy the same loft and adjust, or loft up and then adjust it back down a tad. I don't think it's that much lower spinning to actually loft up that much.

It's a great club though. I love the feel of Titleist drivers, woods and hybrids. The shaft combinations they have are pretty good as well.

i have this driver, i love it. it's 8.5 and it's set at C2. i usually hit it between 285-300 with a slight draw. nothing really to complain about, much better than my old one. i love the customization that you get with it
