"I promise to love, honor, cherish and ace pars threes until death do us part."

by Josh Berhow

It’s difficult to pick which feat is more impressive: the fact that a husband and wife have combined for 23 holes-in-one, or that their most recent aces came in the same round about an hour apart.

Barbara Pagana, 66, and John Pagana, 69, both recorded holes-in-one at the Ryder Course at PGA Golf Club on Friday in Port St. Lucie, Fla. Barbara used a 9-iron to ace the par-3 109-yard fifth hole, and John picked up his 16th career hole-in-one seven holes later, using an 8-iron on the 140-yard par-3 12th.

Barbara, who has seven career holes-in-one and recently won her sixth straight Ladies Club Championship at PGA Golf Club, shot a 71 Friday.

I think the 71 at age 66 is more impressive! The HIO has a healthy dose of luck, the 71 does not.
