So here is my swing.

Do you think the advice I have given over the years shows up at all in the swing I am making?

Equipment, Setup, Finish, Balance, and Relax. All equal in importance and all dependent on each other. They are the cornerstones of a good golf swing.

Its definitely a confident swing, but it also looks a tad uncomfortable, quite 'squat' at address, with body behind the ball and hands ahead of the ball, just looks a little bit awkward.

But can't knock it if it works and over all it's a solid swing.

So here is my swing.

I haven't read that much advice from you. Hope I do. Your lines are great and so is your rhythm. Love that waggle, too.

Best, Mike Elzey

All that is missing is a twirl at the end. Nice move, I don't doubt your scratch status. What are your aspirations in golf?

You want your body behind and your hands ahead of the ball.

Ringer you have a great swing it looks like you have spent a lot of time building it to where it is. Good athletic setup with a nice full turn.

Any swing in the middle of January is nice to me.

Your swing looks like it can hit good shots to me, which isn't surprising. If there's one thing I could pick out (I'm fishing for it a bit), it would be that it looks like your sliding a bit on the downswing.

The best part about your swing is how athletic your setup is. It looks like all you have to do from there is push a button. I am a little confused though, why are you doubting your swing anyway?

For everyone else, I don't think the 0.0 represents a 0 handicap - it stands for "professional," i.e. no handicap. He's a teaching professional.

Didn't mean it was wrong, just meant he looked a bit uncomfortable

Still a nice swing though.

See, sliding is what I do not ever want to do..... But, now that I have watched his video on his, he is really not sliding at all. He has more of an angled push.

Ringer, you have the model swing to which I'm trying to achieve. I've read much of your advice here at the ST and I'd have to say that it fits the swing in your video to a "T."

Regards,

Mark
