Meh 7 holes closed today.

After getting 4 inches of rain in an hour, our course was flooded which was probably for the better. This gave me a bit of a break from the pressure of scoring but made the round kind of lack luster. We had holes 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14 ,15, 16, 17, 18 open. Course plans to be fully open by tomorrow. I don't know, is it worth playing when it like this or should I have done something else today?

Do something else. Even the holes that are open will be soaked. Why bother?!

Actually the holes that were open were not too bad. Only one had some standing water.

I think dedicated golfers will choose to play vs not.

There is a course called Mission Trails out here that flooded early in the year. So you could drive the 1st nine and had to walk the  last nine. We all tried to do it. But it sucked so we quit after 10.

I played . The fact there was nothing riding on it lost me a little. I just let Game Golf keep score and relaxed.

Playing is better than not playing.  Plus you now have a memory or story to tell about the time the course ...

I have played in all sorts of conditions and situations and it is nice to be able to recall all the ridiculous rounds I have experienced.  Why, let me tell you about ...

I guess it depends on whether I had a membership or not. Paying full price to play a partial course, maybe not. Other than that, for me playing is better. Plus you might have had the added benefit of an empty course.

I'm not sure what you mean but you tag your shot and it records each shot, recognizes which hole you are on by using the tags on your clubs. Usually I keep a scorecard as well to ensure I have tagged all shots. As much as I have used it, I still miss tagging a shot now and again.

You can also just use the free app without tags, but you have to manually choose to tag each shot.
