My former home course in the Netherlands (Purmerend) has a 262y par 3 if you play from the back tees and the pin is at the back of the green. Played this hole many times, always needed a driver.

Its a 36 holes course, this hole I disliked the most.

Is it below sea level? One of the coolest things I saw in my only trip to the Netherlands was the GPS on our car was at -10 meters and the place we were visiting! As an engineer, I was impressed!

Definitly below sea level. The dark blue indicates 4 and 5 meter below. Golf course is situated just south of Purmerend.

Of the courses I play with any frequency, 237 yards at Hudson Mills (#16).  Last year I moved forward from the back to the middle tees at 227, not so much because of this hole but for many of the others there.  There is nothing particularly difficult about the hole other than its length.  There is a swale in front the catches balls not hit hard enough to reach the green on the fly or roll through the swale.  The green is quite large with a fair amount of slope so a GIR isn't always a slam dunk birdie/par.

Honorable mention is #18 at Pierce Lake.  I play it at 194.  Tips are 239.  The green is large and very deep  Depending on the hole placement, 30+ yards can be added to the distance.

235 yards, slightly uphill. This is on a busted ass, little 9 holer out in the boonies! My buddy and I played in a 2 man league there for a couple of years. It had 3 each of par 3's, 4's, and 5's. In addition to skins, there was a separate par 3 prize you had to chip in for. If someone parred all 3 par 3's, they won the kitty. The first was 145 yards, the next 225, and the last 235!
