Hey everyone,

I've recently read Ben Hogans book the five fundamentals of golf. It was interesting, talking about the key points of making a good golf swing. It was based on traditional golf principles, stance, grip, etc.  I've always played with the "swing your own swing". I have gotten better by being a bit "unconventional" but doing what works for me. What are everyone else's thoughts? Traditional or swing your swing?

I've written about this before. "Swing your swing" is great if it's a good swing that does all or most of the 5 Simple Keys® well.

But if your swing does not, then you can't really 'swing your swing' and expect to play good or even "better" golf. In those cases, you should swing a better swing, a different swing, and make it your own swing.

I've got some videos if you'd like to see. I'm always curious about info and feedback

My swing sucks. I'm tired of swinging it 😃

Ask me again in six months 😉

Start a Member Swing topic for that if you want. I thought this topic was about the idea in general, not specific to you.

Ok. It was just a general question. I might start a Member Swing topic. Thanks!

I hit a stock draw with my woods and irons. When I’m on the tee, I go to the left side, aim left and it draws back on the fairway. Same with approach shots.

i can hit a fade if I need to but I prefer my stock draw.

Remember its just a game.....more serious than life and death.

I can hit anything from a hook to a slice and all the variations in between.

Just not when I want them...🤣
