I’m out all day but once again don’t confuse feel and what we have measured and know to be true.

The trail leg doesn’t do much of anything. The feet don’t do much of anything. And I’ve never said the left knee “locks.”

You’re being vague and talking about stuff that has literally been to topic of dissertations.

If you have a specific question, theory, idea, etc. cool. Share it. But this far I don’t agree with much that you’ve said and think the scope is entirely too large.

What's your point?

Feel ain't real. We know the trail leg doesn't do much during the downswing, and again we've never said the lead leg is "passive."

My buddy's former boss played college golf for Ohio State, so he was no slouch. His "feel" was that he started his downswing with his left shoulder. Yet, those of us watching saw his swing unfold from the ground up like most good swings! Yet, his "feel" served him well. He has a powerful game.

    • Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.
    • That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.
    • Day 19, 1/19.  Finished work in time to spend 25 minutes hitting balls (hit 15) indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Usual focus.
    • Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
