Hitting 3 Wood Off the Deck

Loose impediments may be removed, but you can't improve the area of your intended swing by breaking branches, matting down grass, or clearing a bunch of loose soil behind the ball with a practice backswing.

I used to hit my 3W off the deck really well ... until I changed my 3W.  I can hit Taylormade RBZ 3W with my eyes closed, but with Callaway 3W, it is completely the opposite.  Don't ask me why as I have no idea.

Some clubs just seem to be easier to hit.
