So how’d you like it? It was my fifth year in a row and each time was great I think. Easy to get around and quite a few holes where you can be real close.

I think its ran just the way if Arnold was still around. Very nice experience. I've knocked off another one of my list of tournaments, next is the Players. I've got the Masters, a Ryder Cup, a PGA,  and a US Open under my belt, plus an RBC (MCI Classic when I went) I just need an Open Championship and the Memorial and my tournament bucket list is done.

Damn...nice list. Yeah they’ve done a great job of keeping it going since losing The King. He’d be proud.

I got lucky with the tournaments on my list. The Masters, I won a badge for Thursday from the golf course when I was stationed at Ft. Stewart, GA. The Heritage, they offered a caddie position to soldiers so I did that during the two pro-ams they had, and it gave me a badge for the whole week, plus inside the ropes for two days, on the range and everything. The PGA ( Valhalla) I worked one day paid, checking tickets, badge for the week. I got into that because of being stationed at Ft Knox. Ryder Cup won an all expense trip through Golfsmith in Atlanta to Medina. Got a 1099 for that one.  The US Open at Pinehurst, well had to pay for that one, but since I was living in Atlanta I had to go. The Open Championship is doable, we have connections in the UK, but with me going back and forth to Germany every month now, have to put that on hold, maybe. The Memorial? I have to go to Ohio, and I don't have all my shots yet.

    • Day 457 - 2025-12-31 Stayed after some GEARS Hybrid stuff with my senior girls and got some work in. Also, kicked Tegan's butt at a chipping contest with a wedge that has a lousy toe profile.
    • Day 141 12-31 Reconnecting arm and club face work. Making sure left wrist is arched only on the downswing. Not doing full swings, im pausing at the top and will do a few rehearsals.  Hit a few real balls  after, and had some curve way left.
    • That was a good watch. When I started working on pelvis in the backswing. I thought, this sounds contradictory to those leg straightening threads on the site. Erik has already done a correction. Then the last lesson we went more down the route of feeling the right knee gains flex. It doesn’t, but the feeling keeps my knee position in a good range. Also, I just realized how much extra work my right hip needed to do to stabilize the body with the proper weight shift. Those glute and hip stabilizers got worked. 🤣 I wish this evolution in the golf instruction happened 20 years ago! 😭
    • I've been Playing Golf for: 40 yrs My current handicap index or average score is: 4.0 factor My typical ball flight is: Straight however sometimes slight draw. The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: squirt to the right due to to much arm not enough turn.
