Hmm... I might also get one. Currently I use a foam roller to get my back, but it doesn't really get between the shoulder blades. I also will use a lacrosse ball against a door to hit that area.

My chiropractor recommended it, because I asked him to go REALLY hard at it today, and the reviews are glowing. There's a one-piece (blue) one too, but it costs a tiny bit more and isn't as easy to pack.

I expect I will love it. It looks fantastic.

Lying on a lacrosse ball on the floor and working your arms around is AMAZING!

I have used something similar to this in the past and liked it. I always end up with knots in my back that are so tough that my wife can't get them out before her fingers start hurting. That is when I went more extreme with lying on the lacrosse ball. I also made myself a cheap version of the theragun.
