Recovery is going to highly depend on the individual. If you are 23 years old, sure that will most likely not present any issues. If you're 73, then you might start getting sore.

There are also a variety of other things that go into recovery too, with nutrition and sleep being two main ones that help facilitate recovery.

I say give it a try for a couple weeks, if you notice yourself getting mentally/physically worn down, then back it off a bit.

But I think you should be fine lifting 2x a week while playing a total of 36 holes per week and only 4 days where you are making full swings.

Pretty much what @klineka said, it’s going to be hard for us to be able to tell you. I do strength training Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with conditioning workouts on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Golf practice everyday, but not full range sessions. Sometimes I’m sore when I go out to play, but it is what it is.

I also work a more physically demanding job, having to haul and climb ladders or crawl into tight spaces often. When I feel fatigued it’s usually because I’m not sleeping well enough or I’m not eating enough.

Thanks both.  Makes sense that it will be individual.  Once pools open again i will be in better shape for recovery as that is my main relaxation activity.
