Hello all,

I've been researching for a bit and feel like I've found conflicting/non-specific info as it pertains to what kind of putter I need/want.

I've attached screenshots from a recent SAM PuttLab fitting and was hoping to get a better idea of what type of putter would best fit my stroke, which needs work.

I'm currently gaming a Ping Anser 2 (blade) with around 45 degrees of toe hang. My typical miss -- as you can see -- is generally left.

Any tips/info/help/critique is welcome. Thanks.

If more information is needed, please let me know.

Work on your stroke.

The putter is almost irrelevant. The forces and torques from putting are incredibly small and basically are completely overcome by the force required simply to hold the putter above the green.

No putter is really going to help you make a better stroke, or change that stroke very much, or work with that type of stroke.

Changing (improving) your stroke starts at setup. You may be aimed right since your path appears to be that way.

I agree with @iacas 100% @sportsguy89
I might add finding or experimenting with the type of putter gripe you are using.
Having the proper grip on the putter relieves tension and help promote a better stroke IMO.

If you are interested, I practice with a Laser Light (just a cheapy pen light will work)
Line up the light to your target with the ball centered and make your putt.
Using it will give you instant visibility of the roll and target line.

My guess is you close the face so much during the stroke to compensate for how far out your path is. It’s definitely a putting stroke issue more than a putter issue, IMO.
