My weed stock (CRON) hasn't being doing shit...took a huge hit and hasn't fully recovered. Fortunately, I have my own weed to fix my blues 🙂

I think CRESCO labs is vertically integrated.  So I went with them instead.

Given many states allowing marijuana use, I invested in some marijuana stocks (Cresco Labs: CRLBF) last year.  It has gone up over 60% since Biden won the election.

They’ve done pretty good lately, but extremely volatile.

It’s reliant on it getting legalized on a federal level. If that happens, watch out.

Even then it might turn into a bubble. I would scrutinize each company to make sure they are set up for the long term. I foresee this turning into a situation were maybe Big Pharma comes in and buys these small businesses to get large market share. Or, a few companies soon buy out other ones to consolidate down to a handful of businesses. This seems to be the trend for every industry over time. Long term, you want to be in those companies.

Very possible. I don’t really invest in weed stocks. I threw a few grand at an etf called MJ. That’s it, and I’ve let it sit and it’s doubled but still don’t trust it.

As with any stocks, you should do your due diligence.  But it's always a risk-reward situation.

I am hoping with so many states legalizing MJ, I am betting on it to go legal on the federal level.

Just put down a few $ that i can afford to gamble.

    • Great suggestion. Unfortunately, we did that and our offer was rejected.  Regarding owing special support. Our experience has shown you are right, as management has not helped us promote the rules of golf.  My (apparently unrealistic) thought is that should not be considered "special support" as they are running a golf course.
    • Thanks for the reply, but this is off topic. The posted question is about the whether we should expect course administrators to promote the rules of golf.  LCP was just an example. (About that example, see Committee Procedures model local rules 8E-2 and 8E-3. Many clubs improperly combine these two rules, allowing LCP everywhere.)
    • Day 92: range session at lunch. Worked on driver a bit - needed to get the ball teed further forward. Filmed my swing as well. Then did a stack session.
    • Day 278 - Happy with the practice today. Arms up, good turn, shift weight, arms down, rotate. Then do it again, blended together. Even filmed some swings for my member swing post.
    • Been working on a fuller backswing and getting more open at impact. These are moving in the right direction, but there’s still room for improvement.
