Last spring we were playing at the Woodburn OGA course. Willamette Invite. We continually had to wait through hail storms, huge hail balls the size of nickles cowering under our golf umbrellas. Later on, I experienced my first encounter with golf rage. The OGA tournament that was intersecting ours (we were going from 8 to 9 they were going from 14 to 15) included 4 young and angry men attacking an older man who kept hitting into them. There were clubs flying. All in the middle of two tournaments. They rushed us girls off, but it was really hard to concentrate after seeing grown men attack each other with golf clubs. The hail didn't help either.

Tobacco Road - NC - Heat of summer 107 degrees

Gold Creek - GA - January 30 degrees and it sleeted on us before we finished

Those are my two worst extremes....
