Kia Rondo - Family car compromise... doesn't look quite like a minivan but seats 7 in a pinch and can haul a LOT of stuff, esp. with the Yakima box on top.

Actually, Basher... in Europe they are known as the Kia Carens, I believe

Subaru STi. I wanted something powerful with all-wheel drive so I could use it year round. Next year it goes away and I'm looking to go a little more upscale.

Well I have several vehicles depending on my mood. Cavallier for work, (saving gas for golf money), a Jeep Grand Cherokee to make the wifey feel safe, a Windstar for when I'm hauling the entire gang, (4 kids) and a Harley for when I'm feeling stressed and feel the need for freedom!!

I have a Focus and an Escape (both Ford)... why, they were affordable and get pretty decent gas mileage. I would like to ditch the Focus for maybe a Honda Element, another Escape, or something else.

Like a Nissan GTR ..lol?

Is a Metro exotic? That's the 'other' car

55mpg is pretty out of this world, wouldn't you say? At least by US standards. The rest of the world has wide choice of fuel-efficient vehicles but we have a wide choice of Hummers, and Suburbans and Tahoes and Escalades, etc... We finally are getting the Smart Cars over here but they've been 'modified to meet US standards' meaning they get shittier mpg than the originals by 10 or 15 mpg.

I use to have a Nissan 350Z a couple of years ago if that counts as exotic. I have a 2005 Volvo S60 T5 Sport...and the clubs are always in the trunk

2007 Kia Optima... nice looking, great gas mileage, great warranty.

I don't buy into the anthropogenic global warming scam for a second... but I drive 40 miles each way to work, so gas mileage is an economic decision for me.

Ford Ranger. I needed a car and this one was priced right or so I thought. I wish I would have looked a little longer but like I said I needed a car "yesterday" and didn't want to wait until "tomorrow" to buy one. Now I wish I would have waited.

    • Day 7 - Mirror work, trying to hit that PGA-logo position in my follow through. Mirror really helped, need to film soon.
    • So hit the😝 irons crooked AND play layup golf?? Hahaha.. no thanks. I would rather stay home. 😊
    • First - glad to see these popping up again. Now to the topic at hand - I would rather be option 1.  If I know how far it's going (I mean a yard or two) I can always play to the wider parts of the fairway and/or the green and still do reasonably well.  Now if I could just really hit the "number" that well.
    • Day 2 (10 Mar 25) - Long day of driving to dr appt with son.  Thankfully got in one of my fave putting drills (two ball side by side) - the goal to have both balls come off the putter face equally by having them come off the putter face as close to the same time as possible.  First few rolls - the toe was leading the way as that ball flew off the face.  By the end of the drill both balls were basically equal off the face, rolling to within a couple of inches of each other.  Nice drill of focusing on squaring the face.  BTW - I was using the old Odyssey DF992.
    • Day 161 - 2025-03-10 Got a decent, long session in. Focused mostly on the backswing feels, and moved on toward the end of the four hours (not all hitting balls, I installed a motion sensing light switch in there too, and worked with a student over FaceTime for a bit) on the downswing feel.
