DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – After 50 years, the European Tour is no more.

Starting in 2022, it will be rebranded as the DP World Tour in a deal that is set to double the total prize money — to more than $200 million.

European Tour chief executive Keith Pelley said the title change better reflects the global nature of the tour.

On the 2022 schedule, only 23 of the 47 events will be staged on European soil (click here to view full schedule).

“In many way, it’s a misnomer,” Pelley said of the European Tour’s current title. “We are definitely a world tour.”

Yeah, lest the whitewashing of political regimes continue… now the whole Tour is sponsored by a company based in Dubai…

      First swings at after a 2.5 month forced hiatus. No surgery in the forecast at the moment! Doc said okay to start easing in gently over a few weeks. The effort is barely 30% here but felt solid.  I think my swing changed a few years ago after my right ankle injury (weight shift profile). I wonder if this may bring about another change. I certainly won't pivot on to the knee (left) aggressively any time soon, if ever. Could even be a good thing..heh.

      I mean, I just assume he mistyped something. 🙂 Promos were on X/Twitter and today I put the promo on IG. The full video is landscape (not good for Instagram) and too big for X (file size), so it's always been on YouTube.

      Slomo video of me working on the arms raising thing in the backswing. I think this is better, albeit I’m going fairly slowly and then stopping. Too darn cold to go outside and I don’t have room to safely make a full motion indoors, so this will have to do till I can make it to the range.

      Very concise and to the point.  I can attest; it makes the golf swing easier if you keep that right arm under control.
