TaylorMade is doing the Arccos thing.

They are doing it a little differently. Instead of including it in the grip, they are allowing you to get tags by mail.

Personally, I like Arccos. Having said that, I would not get Arccos Smart Caddie.

It's been several years since I've used Arccos, but back when I did you could use Arccos. Get some great data. Keep all the stats you wanted. Have a history of your rounds, etc... All without paying for the Smart Caddie feature. I felt the Smart Caddie was at best a waste of money as I never wanted it's recommendations anyway. It is possible, however, that there are new features with Smart Caddie that may make it worthwhile now.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

No different than how PING did it a few years ago.

I thought PING did it with the grips, not the screw in tags?
I could be mistaken. I'm very old now... I get forgetful .... what were we talking about?

With Ping and ordering clubs with Arccos, shaft length is affected.  One should look into it before ordering a new net of Ping irons with the sensors in the grips
