Gosh - hard to imagine Finau was a captain's pick just 6-7 months ago. Crazy how far his game has fallen recently. I drafted him in a fantasy golf league that I play in and he is shaping up to be one of the biggest busts of the year. 

I think Kisner has to be considered a front-runner for the 2023 Ryder cup unless his game completely falls off a cliff between now and then. His match play record is almost too good to believe (I read that he his 22-7-1 in the WGC match play, and 2-0-1 in the Presidents Cup). Some guys just thrive under match play conditions. He might not be the right choice for a bomb and gouge type course - but it's hard to imagine you could find 6 better choices for any of the European setups.

Yeah, he wasn't going to be a good choice at Whistling Straits. Same for Kevin Na (who I may have said I wanted at one point when I was being dumb).

But the Italy course might be a good fit for him.

A captain pick has to be about the course, hot player and have they may fit in team setting. Kisner for Italian course may fit. We have dome time.
