I was able to get out and walk 18 today. It is winter here on Long Island but the weather has not been terrible. It was 60 degrees on Friday. No such luck today, a balmy 44 was the high. I am excited to tell you that the Lux Hybrid performs. The new heel lock makes this a very stable shoe. You can feel the stability while swinging. If you loved the Lux sport these will be a bit different. The lux sport are amazing to play in, these outperform them. The insoles on these are thiner much like the originals. You can feel your feet molding into them. Never once was my feet tired. The laces do the job tightening the shoe and the leather saddle is very sharp. I did not wear the True no show socks(best fitting sock) with them today will definitely need to. I have to make sure no ankle chewing. Because of how they fit I don’t see this being an issue. Overall the shoe performs as a more structured brother to the already great Lux line. I highly recommend this shoe.

I’ve played 2 rounds in Florida and I must say the hybrid shoe is my new favorite shoe. These are just comfortable to walk and play golf in.

I will grab another pair most likely in season. Need a pair of white golf shoes. Haven’t had white since the originals a few years ago.

      The course is playing tough. We’re only about 50 miles away. It very windy here and going to get worse. They’re all dressed like it’s the British Open!

      Have posted in a while or practiced for that matter. Dealing with a few medical issues. But I was able to practice and film today. I’ve played 5 times this year. Misses have been pulls or heavy shots. I feel this has a lot to do with my lower back issues. When I feel good, I get good rotation and I hit the ball well. Today I felt good. Hips and lower back felt nice and flexible. I worked mainly on the hands feeling from the top. The club head should feel like it’s going down and away from the ball and target at the start of the downswing. The right knee should stay a little flexed at the top. These are the only swing thoughts other than high hands (arms going up) I’ve been focused on. I did PW, 6 iron and Driver today. Here is PW. The hands look better as does the knee in the rehearsal. The knee gets more straight in the actual swing.   My left arm is not straight at impact, which it has never really been. But that’s not the focus of this practice.   6 iron looks better than last time. Driver also looks better than last time. Playing tomorrow. Hopefully my body will cooperate.
