Balls with Increasingly Aggressive Alignment Aids

Recommended Posts

If you hate the line options, how do you feel about the two-colored balls? I can bring some awful looking Sricon Z Stars to the golf outing 😆

This is my go-to golf ball right now.
I've got like 6 dozen in my office closet.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

But I'm one of those cool old dudes. You know the kind that's up on all the hip lingo the teenie-boppers are using these days.

Q: When does a joke become a dad joke? ....

A: When it's apparent.

Back on topic. I like heading up the fairway and being able to identify my golf ball from a hundred or more yards away. I really don't see a downside to adding either color or alignment marks to the ball. Of course some colors don't make sense in my mind. A grass colored ball or sky colored ball would clearly have a downside.

I prefer a solid color ball whether it’s white or another color as long as it’s not “blinding” when I’m over it. Simple alignment line is all I need for putting.

    • ETSU men’s golf receives apology from Delta Airlines after baggage mishandling video goes viral SAN DIEGO, Calif. (WJHL) — The East Tennessee State University (ETSU) men’s golf team has received an apology from Delta Airlines after a video that has over 5 million views showed staff haph… I feel for the team! 15 years ago I changed planes in Atlanta on my way to Las Vegas. With a window seat on the Hartsville tarmac I could see my golf bag, in a hard case, tossed onto the conveyor belt, and overhang the edge, to the cargo section. As it rose, I saw it fall off from about 20’. Couldn’t see the impact. When I landed and retrieved the case, it was destroyed but the clubs were okay!   When I filed a claim with Delta they put me through an administrative nightmare and I finally gave up. Still have that case in my attic!
